he... he tells the kid to 'clean out the dust from the hole'... and he sticks his finger IN THE ANODE. I cannot believe the kid is alive. I thought if anything it'd been unplugged for weeks or something but IT WAS STILL PLUGGED IN!?!?!

Jesus christ.

Ya it was probably a good thing he wasn't touching the chassis when he probed the hole.

That video was hilarious! I don't care what any of you pansies say about the "dangers of monitors", I'm totally gonna do this with my son!

Damn! I've been shock by the anode before and let me tell you...it felt like my teeth melted! That monitor has lethal amounts of current, even it has been turned off for a prolonged period of time. I had one shock me when the current arced from the monitor to the anode cap in my hand. Always ground that monitor before you do anything to it and of course, unplug the damn thing. That should go without saying to most sane people.

Let's wait for them to sue someone because of the danger of electricity :oh_no:

00:24: The kid's protest of "Oww!" is met with: "It's going to be warm."
When Jr. say "but it shocked me..." we can make out the guys sigh of disgust.
Oh, forgot to turn it off.

I'm sorry but this is just further proof that breeding should be a privilege, not a right. Any more "education" and this kid won't see 18.

I'm suprised it was a small jolt. What's bad is the person shooting the video is laughing, and if you look around, it looks like there are a bunch of games. He obviously collects or works on them a lot, and he still doesn't know to discharge the monitor. No wonder he is laughing, a screws loose from being hit with multiple shocks of high voltage.

I'm really surprised that such a clip was posted knowing that Child Protective Services has removed kids for much less than that.

I understand that G07 Chasis are a bit light and all... But sheesh.... I'm scared shitless of electricity... I only mess with monitors because I know where the storied energy points are. I will never open up a dryer or microwave (a really good way to get yourself killed).

I am in disbelief that a father would even mistakenly tell one of his children to do that with the cab still plugged in. The kid is lucky to have made it to the age he is.

Gotta be honest, I laughed my ass off at this video, but I agree that this guy should definitely not win the father of the year award. He must pattern his parenting style after Homer Simpson.
