Hi. I'm currently thinking of purchasing a Hyper 64 Motherboard (rev2).
My arcade cabinet is currently wired for MVS and has a Standart Resolution monitor. Is there anything on my setup I should consider in order to install a hyper64 on my cabinet?

Some kick ass speakers. The rev 2 has a switch to go from jamma to MVS so no need to change anything there.

Xian XI, any suggestions for speakers for a mvs cab? No version in particular just curious about speakers for a future project/upgrade. I know they need to be shielded. Computer speakers I heard are a possible choice. Any thoughts?

Sorry, I'm not a cabby. I wish I had one. Some others will chime in though.

I just picked up a Hyper 64 rev2 board with FFWA, SS64 and SS2WR. Should arrive in a couple days. I'm going to mount it in my MVS 4-25 v3 cab. I've watched plenty of gameplay vids of the 64 and it looks sweet. I've been wanting to try one of these out for a long time.

Once I get my supergun up and running I'll be looking for one of these, rev 1 or 2. I reckon it would look sick at 37"

Ya it should look pretty nuts. It also runs at 60fps so it would be smooth as well.

Got mine in the mail yesterday - a little smaller than I had anticipated. Though I do have 2 Primal Rage boards and an Arch Rivals laying around so compared to those everything looks small. Doing a cap kit on my wg monitor tonight and mounting the board in the MVS cab. I'll post some pics when it's in.

Here's the Hyper board in my MVS cabinet, works like a charm.

I only played SS:WR for a few minutes and then switched to SS64. My initial take is that SS:WR looks more polished and has a lot more characters but SS64 seems to have better gameplay. I played it for an hour or so and I have to say it's excellent.

Just realized we dont have Mini Marquees for these types of situations. Maybe Neo Alec can make some? How about it buddy?

I've never made marquees. You don't want to see my Photoshop skills. Someone who makes them should though.

I need the two Samurai games. I keep losing the auctions on ebay, and they aren't much cheaper for my brother in Japan either. He had an opportunity to buy a Rev 1 with SS64 in Akihabara recently, but did not want to haul out the board by hand all day on foot. Someone please help me find them for ~$100 before xmas!
