Thanks man, I had a GREAT time. Nice to see everyone's actual faces and beat/get beaten at fighters one on one. Rock Band was ace, and thanks to Nathan for brining his 2 slot. My fiance had a blast whooping my sorry as at RBFFS (goddamn Higashi), and it was a sobering experience to see actual competitive play.

I'm definitely on board for the next gathering.

Yeah, the first thing I said when I got there was where's the target guy, although I didnt go talk to you or really anyone else for that matter. I'm always guilty of that.

I'd say the highlight for me was getting to play the Super Grafx version of Daimakaimura. Rad.

Oh yeah and RAMAD you need to hook your buddy up with one of those monitors man...we gotta work something out for serious.

The Fine and True Photographic Records of the MN Neo Gathering 2008:

Game Day! I love that we were next to a large gala, and the coincidence of being in a room named after the city where NG.com is headquartered.



Denny Hecker Scion sponsored us and gave us a table of trophies, wristbands, a big banner (though not the phat duct tape), and car brochures. Don't know if I would've titled the gathering quite that way but overall awesome.


Here's a sample of what the trophies looked like. This wasn't Delly's yet:


Nathan: sporting the shirt, playing the game. This man brought a ton of stuff --only matched by Ramad's liquor truck filled with stuff.

Sorry for how blurry some of these are: the light was just so that it didn't want to work without flash --I prefer natural light photos and my battery was low anyway.

I had a great time with you guys on Saturday. It was well worth the drive.

I really enjoyed getting to play Magical Drop 3 with Bobak (thanks for your tips too) and watching people try out new games on the Neo.

Wow. You're right, I'm not very photogenic. That outfit I wore didn't help. I wish you would've taken a pic when that room was packed. There must have been 50-60 people in there when MvC2 was in full swing. I've gotta bring my camera to the next one. While the last few gatherings went by slow, it seemed like the night was over in a flash at this one.

Wow, that expression on my face almost looks forced. I think that song was actually Blitzkrieg Bop, not Don't Fear the Reaper. I'm impressed by the drummer's skills on that song. Who was that?

I can't locate the brackets for Garou... I have everything else.... I think I have all the info to fill it out properly.

More short jumps too.

Bottomline we need to play the game more. Still scrubbing it up alot.
