He looked hurt however he threw his hat in toward going after Cena's WWE title so I have a feeling he'll be back soon. Whether 100% is another story since I know he was hurting a bit before WM. Love him or hate him, he's a trooper for staying on the trail and still appearing at events despite all of this.

he's always been like that. before he was in the WWE he would drive all over canada in their frozen ass winters just to make it to amateur events in the hopes of someone noticing him. he's got dedication to say the least.

-ROH wrestler Colt Cabana has signed with the WWE. The signing came about recently. Cabana has appeared on WWE television in the past as an extra and as enhancement talent. He faces Delirious on Apr. 13 in Long Island, N.Y. Doug Williams on Apr. 14 in Edision, NJ., and tags with Homicide against Adam Pearce & Brent Albright on Apr. 27 in St. Paul, Minn.

Cabana's final match will come against longtime friend Adam Pearce in his hometown of Chicago on Apr. 28. This event will be called "Good Times, Great Memories" in honor of Cabana's final show.

I seem to watch WWE every so often...I'm usually off or on. Depends really! I guess it's all about the mood. Now ECW...I never watch it.

The ECW Originals may have earned an emotional victory against their rivals at WrestleMania, but tonight, the New Breed outshined their enemies under the Originals’ home court rules: Extreme Rules.

On Sunday, it was an emotional night for the Originals who finally made it to WrestleMania and proved their resilience in front of more than 80,000 Ford Field fans. A night that commenced with tears of joy for Original Tommy Dreamer became a tumultuous nightmare 48 hours later at the hands of the New Breed. The four men isolated Dreamer early on until his fellow Originals retaliated with a slew of weapons.

Through tables, steel chairs and more, the Originals gave the New Breed a lesson in their hardcore roots for much of the Eight-Man Tag Team Match. Ultimately, the captain of the upstart faction Elijah Burke caught a distracted Sabu with a merciless Elijah Express that drove the ECW Original head first through a table. This was enough for Burke to snare the win and put the New Breed back on top in their war against ECW’s legacy bearers. (WATCH)

After a successful slaying of the savage Umaga at WrestleMania 23 and on then again Raw, ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley came to ECW on Sci Fi to celebrate in the Land of the Extreme. Lashley presented the ECW audience with a video replay of his trip to Raw where he revealed Mr. McMahon’s sleek and shaved cranium.

Though he enjoyed dehatting the WWE Chairman on Monday night, the unstoppable champion said he anticipates Mr. McMahon’s attempts at retaliation. Sans his signature coiffure, the Chairman may spend the rest of his days trying to put Lashley through hell, but the ECW World Champion challenged the bald billionaire to bring it on. (WATCH)

“He can send a whole army against me,” said Lashley of Mr. McMahon, “I don’t care. No matter who or what you send against me, nothing will stop me.”

The WrestleMania 23 fallout continued as Money in the Bank participant CM Punk resumed his competitive zeal on ECW on Sci Fi. After a successful battle with Stevie Richards, the straightedge Superstar was confronted by a pair of New Breeders in the locker room area. Matt Striker and Marcus Cor Von referred to Punk as the fastest rising star in ECW, but warned that if he isn’t with them, he’s against them.

Elsewhere in the Land of the Extreme, ECW’s most deranged Superstar Snitsky continued his ravaging path of destruction – this week, bringing his pain distribution to new levels in his match against Hardcore Holly. The Alabaman veteran fought tooth-and-nail with his heinous opponent and proved to be the one man who could stand up against Snitsky. In the end, however, Snitsky – the man who WWE Magazine named “most likely to rip your head off” – maintained his streak of dominance.

Afterwards, the chaos continued as Snitsky pinned Holly’s arm beneath the steel ring steps and repeatedly bashed the steps with a chair – an attack that dismantled and near crippled Holly.

Finally, recording artist Timbaland was surveying the talented ECW Divas, looking for the stars of his upcoming music video. After a brief interaction with Rob Van Dam, Extreme Exposé expressed their extreme interest in working with the world-famous rapper and producer.

WWECW was pretty good tonight. Like always, Punk had a good match against Steven Richards and the main event was awesome. It felt like the original ECW.

What You Didn’t See On ECW; Wrestler Gropes Ariel

Last night reader Drew Durham attended the SmackDown!/ECW Tapings. He had a few of the following notes to share:

As Lashley was leaving after his segment, he high-fifed some fans as he left to the back. CM Punk also did the same.

After the main event, Hardcore Holly sold his army injury and limped out with some help.

Also prior to the main event, Burke was crawling around the ring trying to sell the beating he got. Burke then went over to Ariel and was trying to get her attention by grabbing her butt. Not to sure if she was OK with it, but she seemed to stay in character while he did it.

Drew had a sign that read “NI New Inbreeds” and Marcus Cor Von took it away from him and proceeded to rip it up while staring at him. Drew proceeded to laugh in his face because he looked so angry at him.

Got this from Rob Kamphausen's Message Board: Sports and Wrestling Sub-Forum (direct link)

sources: PWInsider.com Audio, www.f4wonline.com

Nowadays, WWE is trying to listen to the fans a bit more. They tried to bury these three individuals, but the fans refused to stop cheering for them.

Expect to see big pushes for CM Punk, Matt Hardy and Rob Van Dam. A lot has already been shown by Punk's role at WrestleMania and his good performance on the show. On Raw, you saw Matt Hardy become a champion again. And at WrestleMania, RVD gained a win because they want him to a part of WWE in the future. The company threw him a bone with the Mania win, basically letting him know that if he re-signed, they'd take care of him. No one knows what his plans are and the belief is that he's not 100 percent sure at this point.

glad to hear they are going to give these 3 a push.

soo is matt now part of raw??

Or better yet....with him representing SmackDown and holding a Raw belt will this mean that the tag belts will be defended on both shows OR we could see heat build and a unification match for the tag titles?

TNA Impact on Spike TV
April 5, 2007
Taped March 26 in Orlando, Florida
Report by James Caldwell, Torch columnist

We open with a recap video package on last week where Team Cage was named. The one week where it's desperately needed because TNA flew way under the radar on Mania week.

Leticia found Team Cage tossing objects around backstage. Everyone screamed over Tomko, who said he was just joking about not joining Team Cage last week. Christian and Tomko resumed their tension after not being able to decide on who's idea it was last week. Tomko wanted to know why he was in an Eight Mile Street Fight with Rhino tonight and Christian responded that they're team. James Mitchell then asked Christian where Abyss's title shot is. Everyone else chimed in that they want their title shot. Christian avoided the tough questions and stepped off screen.

1 -- RHINO vs. TOMKO -- Eight Mile Street Fight

Rhino came out to the ring, but then he ran backstage and found Tomko near the stage entrance. They started brawling, so the ref called for the bell. This turned into a stunt brawl and Tomko went for the customary spot of slamming his opponent into the wall supporting the grandstands. Tomko grabbed a steel chair from a fan and love tapped Rhino on the back before pushing him over the guardrail to the ringside area.

[Commercial Break]

We come back to find Tomko smashing Rhino with a trashcan lid in the ring. Rhino then slammed Tomko through a table in the corner before Rhino hit the ring and accidentally nailed Tomko in the face with a chair. Rhino then Gored Tomko for the win.

After the match, Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle saved Rhino from a beating before the rest of Team Cage hit the ring to make it a five-on-three beating. Team Cage stood tall once again.

WINNER: Rhino in 7:00. Decent action, but there wasn't a need for a gimmick match between two wrestlers who don't have a issue at stake other than just happening to be on opposite teams at Lockdown. Gimmick matches should be used sparingly and when a feud has built up over time, but hasn't found a true conclusion. (*1/4)

Backstage, various wrestlers were arguing in Jim Cornette's office. He finally snapped and told all of them to keep quiet. Cornette said he would announce matches at the town hall metting later tonight. Gail Kim then stormed into the office and nailed Jackie Moore from behind. The fight spilled over Cornette's desk before security intervened and hauled Gail away.

[Q2]

[Commercial Break]

Team Cage was having a celebration backstage. Styles reluctantly took a sip of an adult beverage. Christian declared victory at Lockdown. Steiner said something no one could understand, then Christian said they need to party like it's 1999. Well, there's a TNA booking joke in there somewhere. Christian said everyone's partying, except for Abyss, who needs to learn how to be a team player. James Mitchell snapped at him to clean up the mess or he would make a phone call. Abyss then flipped over the party table and shook the camera.

VKM walked to ringside with Lance Hoyt and they found Christy Hemme standing on the entrance ramp. She went for a slap on Hoyt, but easily blocked it and took her to ringside while she tried to prevent a wardrobe malfunction. LAX then came out for a match against VKM.

2 -- LAX (HOMICIDE & HERNANDEZ w/Konnan) vs. VKM (KIP & B.G. JAMES) -- non-title match

B.G. started things off and took a pounding from Hernandez. B.G. then caught Hernandez with a boot to the face and crawled in the desert to Kip for a hot tag. Kip then cleaned house on LAX before tossing Homicide to the outside. Suddenly, all the action broke down when the Latino Nation stormed the ring and jumped Kip, causing a DQ.

Team 3D then hit the ring and cleared out the Latinos. They told Homicide to get in the ring, but Homicide bailed. Brother Ray then accepted LAX's challenge for an electrified steel cage match for the NWA Tag Titles at Lockdown. Konnan stared into the ring, then Ray continued his promo. He said they would hold the tag titles held over their heads and the rest of LAX would be back in Tijuana making chalupas. Ray stole LAX's signature line and said, "To live and die in Team 3D."

WINNERS: VKM via DQ in 3:00. Match was inconsequential, but they advanced the storyline. (1/4*)

Backstage, Borash found Team Angle standing around. Joe screamed at Angle for not getting the job done and said he signed on to get his hands on Christian, despite hating Angle. Joe asked him if he had a back-up plan in mind. Angle turned around and snapped at Joe to get off his back. He said Sting and Abyss fell through, and Sting won't even return his phone calls. Rhino then screamed at Angle to come up with another plan. Angle said he had it under control, then he left. Solid promo exchange to build up anticipation for #4 and #5.

[Commercial Break on genital herpes. Wonderful.]

[Q3]

Eye Spy this week was Jay Lethal showing off his new hair-do for Kevin Nash. Nash said he booked Lethal in an Xscape match at Lockdown. Nash then put Sonjay Dutt in an Oz costume from his WCW days. He said he earned six figures for doing two matches in that outfit. Dutt said he would be the laughingstock back home.

Borash found Kurt Angle standing against a wall in deep thought. Borash asked Angle what he had in mind for his team. Angle said no one should doubt him and there will be five members by the end of next week.

3 -- THE AUSTIN STARR vs. SENSHI -- submissions match

Starr hit a suicide dive in the opening minute before taunting the front row fans. He took Senshi into the guardrail before they cut to a break.

[Commercial Break]

Starr delivered a front face suplex out of the break before putting Senshi in the Muta Lock. They cut to Bob Backlund continuing to do steps ringside. Senshi came back with a standing sidekick before hitting a springboard thrust kick to the face. He put Starr in the Dragon Sleeper, but Starr escaped the hold. They fought up top, then Senshi went for the Warrior's Way, but he missed and came up limping. Starr took advantage by going after the left knee with chop blocks before applying a half-crab. He taunted Backlund, who came to ringside, then he sat down on the hold. Backlund decided to throw in his workout towel, giving Starr the win.

Afterward, Starr tried to put Backlund in a cross face chicken wing, but Backlund escaped and threw him out of the ring. Senshi then picked up the towel and threw it at Backlund for costing him the match.

WINNER: Starr in 8:00. About what you'd expect for a TV match. Nothing memorable, but they advanced the story and Starr picked up a credible victory. Pulling out the Skaaland towel-toss without establishing context or history felt like a wasted opportunity when it could have meant something down the road. (*3/4)

Tenay introduced a video package on Sting vs. Abyss. We then went to an interview between Tenay and Steve Borden. Borden told "Chris" that he's sorry and he had no idea things would turn out this way. He said he had no idea that dealing with Abyss's past would further imprison him. Sting said he's starting to doubt his plan for Abyss, and this isn't how he envisioned going out in the wrestling business. He said he has to go home and look his family ... remove sunglasses ... and look himself in the eyes and admit that he failed.

[Q4]

[Commercial Break]

Jim Cornette was in the ring for the company-wide meeting. He said some people are unclear of their roles at Lockdown. He then listed the Lockdown card. Five-man Xscape match for the X Division Title: Chris Sabin vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Jay Lethal vs. Alex Shelley vs. Shark Boy. No Jerry Lynn in the title match this month. Robert Roode vs. Petey Williams. Jerry Lynn vs. Christopher Daniels, who wasn't in attendance. A very special challenge match: Senshi vs. Austin Starr with Mr. Backlund as special referee. Chris Harris vs. James Storm in a blindfold match. Gail Kim vs. Jackie Moore in a ladies cage match. What defines a "ladies" cage match? I'm sure TNA's Props and Sets department will have fun with that. LAX vs. Team 3D for the NWA Tag Titles in an electrified cage match. Main event: Lethal Lockdown match with Team Angle vs. Team Cage.

Cornette asked Angle to have his roster filled by next week because one member of each team will face each other on next week's show. He said the winner will win the advantage of entrance at Lockdown. 2 on 1, 3 on 2, etc. Christian then interrupted and said he doesn't appreciate being told to be at a mandatory meeting when their team was trying to have a party. Cornette snapped that he needs to shut up. He called Christian a con man and said Christian has been handing out title shots, but they hold no value because he decides who receives the title shots, not Christian. Cornette said he's going to give the belt some credibility because whoever scores the winning fall at Lockdown will receive a title shot at the May PPV. So, what happens if Christian scores the fall? Christian screamed at Cornette that his stipulation won't mean anything if Team Angle doesn't even make it to Lockdown. The lights then went off and on, revealing Sting bashing members of Team Christian. Tenay said Sting had a change of heart after discussing his issues with his family. Quick turnaround from chapter to chapter in that story. Sting cleared the ring, then stood tall with Team Angle to close the show.

Following the heinous and malicious onslaught by the monstrous Snitsky on ECW on Sci Fi, ECW.com has learned that Hardcore Holly suffered a broken right arm.

With the Alabaman's arm wedged beneath the ring steps, Snitsky repeatedly blasted the mounted steps with a steel chair on Tuesday night. As a result, the rugged veteran Holly received treatment after his match and was removed from action indefinitely.

Deadman rising
By Lennie DiFino
April 6, 2007

The “Era of The Deadman” officially began on SmackDown, as the new World Heavyweight Champion Undertaker began his reign with championship gold in his hands.

As Undertaker was ready to speak, former champion Batista, the man who The Phenom defeated at WrestleMania, made his way to the ring and had a simple message: “Congratulations…I want my rematch.” Will these two men square off again for the richest prize in the business? As The Animal left the ring, King Booker attacked Undertaker from behind, hoping to make a statement of his own.

Booker’s attempt for a royal declaration was short-lived, as Undertaker quickly turned the attack into one of his own. Undertaker dismantled King Booker, then delivered a devastating Tombstone on the announce table, leaving King Booker injured. Stay tuned to WWE.com for details on Booker’s status.

The night was supposed to be redemption for King Booker, who was looking to avenge his loss in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match – a match in which Booker was forced to make the toughest decision of his professional life – between Queen Sharmell and the briefcase holding a championship match future. Booker chose to defend Sharmell, therefore losing the match and his chance at gold.

King Booker lost on this night to World Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy, and Queen Sharmell then verbally berated him, questioning his manhood by saying, “I was violated by Matt Hardy at WrestleMania – is this how you defend my honor King Booker?” It was not a good week to be King Booker.

One Superstar who had a week on the opposite spectrum was Mr. Kennedy. The “future of sports-entertainment” defeated seven other WWE and ECW Superstars en route to capturing the briefcase and winning Money in the Bank. Kennedy faced World Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy – and defeated Hardy to continue the momentum he has been building.

After the match, Hornswoggle appeared, causing Kennedy to stalk him until Finlay attacked from behind. Kennedy then stormed into General Manager Theodore Long’s office and demanded a match versus Hornswoggle. Long granted his request, and added Finlay to the mix, making it a Handicap Match next week on SmackDown.

United States Champion Chris Benoit took on The Miz in a non-title match. Benoit seemed to be in full control of the match, and as he was ready to deliver a Flying Headbutt to Miz, Montel Vontavious Porter interfered, which allowed Miz to pick up the victory.

MVP failed to win the United States title from Benoit at WrestleMania 23, but it appears that he still has unfinished business to settle with the Rabid Wolverine.

Kane defeated Dave Taylor despite interference from William Regal at ringside. The Big Red Machine is coming off a loss to The Great Khali at WrestleMania, and Taylor & Regal were in the path of Kane’s destruction.

The WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick were in action against Cruiserweight Champion of the World Chavo Guerrero & Gregory Helms. The champions defeated Helms & Guerrero in non-title action, but next week the nearly one-year reign of London & Kendrick will be on the line against the men from the Other Side of the Tracks – Deuce & Domino. Can London & Kendrick overcome the odds once more next week on SmackDown?

Finally, General Manager Theodore Long and Kristal have been growing close as of late and reportedly had a post-WrestleMania rendezvous. Does the General Manager of SmackDown have a thing for SmackDown Diva Kristal?

Matches

Mr. Kennedy def. Jeff Hardy

Redemption
By Noah Starr
April 9, 2007

Shane McMahon seemed to have redemption on his mind when he arrived at the Arena at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, Conn. WWE.com caught up with Shane upon arrival and he promised to make some serious impact.

And make an impact he did.

Moments after the smoke had cleared from the Raw opening pyrotechnics display, Shane stepped into the ring. Only eight days after his father had his head shaved bald at WrestleMania, the younger McMahon arrived to restore honor to his family name.

“I am fourth generation in this business,” Shane began, “tonight is about respect.” With that, he called out the Superstar responsible for the McMahon’s family’s embarrassments: ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley, who strode into the ring. Even Lashley’s imposing figure couldn’t deter Shane from making a shocking announcement. Later in the night, Shane would put his hair on the line against Bobby Lashley’s ECW
World Championship!

When the time came for the two Superstars to meet in the ring, Shane put up a solid fight before doing the unthinkable: cold-cocking the referee in order to be disqualified! As WWE fans reacted to Shane’s shocking actions, Intercontinental Champion Umaga, Armando Estrada and Mr. McMahon himself stepped into the fray. After Umaga dealt out a huge amount of punishment to Lashley, Shane topped it all off by nailing the ECW Champion in the head with a steel chair. As Lashley lay bleeding, Mr. McMahon announced a match at Backlash pitting Lashley against Umaga, Shane and the Chairman himself for the ECW Championship.

Shawn Michaels and Randy Orton met up on Raw to compete in a No. 1 Contenders Match for the WWE Championship that must have been one of the most physically draining matches in recent history. After a surprise appearance by Edge, HBK accidentally knocked out the referee. Once another ref was on the scene, Michaels dropped Orton with some Sweet Chin Music and fell on him for the cover. Unfortunately, both of HBK’s shoulders hit the mat and both refs announced different winners, cancelling each other out leaving the status of the No. 1 Contender spot up for grabs.

Later, Edge stirred up trouble in his Cutting Edge segment. After Edge claimed Jonathan Coachman had named him No. 1 Contender for the WWE Championship, Raw’s very special Honorary General Manager Michael Pena stepped into the spotlight. Thanks to WWE and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Michael was able to live out his dream by meeting all of his favorite Superstars and announcing a Backlash match with enough gusto to make even Teddy Long yell, “Holla!” Michael used his status as Honorary General Manager to announce WWE Champion John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton vs. Edge at Backlash for the WWE Championship!

Matches
Mickie James & Candice Michelle def. WWE Women's Champion Melina & Victoria (Non-Title Match)
Cade & Murdoch def. Ric Flair & Carlito (No. 1 Contenders Match)
Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton (No winner announced)
World Tag Team Champions The Hardys def. The World's Greatest Tag Team (Non-Title Match)
ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley def. Shane McMahon (Title vs. Hair Match; DQ)

tonights raw was mostly predictible. saw that fatal 4-way coming from a half-hour away and just as much as Umaga coming to the ring at the main event, the only suprising thing was the new #1 tag team contenders and a rather solid women's (Candice upped her move list up pretty good, making her 1 out of 5 of the only women that can actually wrestle alright in the WWE *IMHO*) tag match, and the great but short Hardys title-defense match.
best night for tag team matches in a very long time.
