I would love to believe that too. But it seems like this is only gonna be a cameo appearance to hype up things before WM. If he does come back it will probably be a run-in at the PPV or a live appearance on either the RAW before or after to do some trash talking and MAYBE give someone a random rock bottom, then its back to the movies for The Rock.

News and Notes...

Rob Kamphausen's Forum: Sports and Wrestling (direct link)

Ryu Nakata, spokesperson for Pro Wrestling NOAH, said that Takeshi Morishima would work 30 USA dates this year. He also said Mitsuharu Misawa would wrestle for NOAH towards the end of the year on a show in New York.

Shane Douglas has not returned to TNA since he fell asleep in the dressing room before a taping several weeks ago.

Konnan is improving and was out of his wheelchair and briefly walking on crutches last week. He is also now handling much of the main event booking for AAA.

Shawn Stasiak, in town for Mike Awesome's funeral, was talking with people at TNA about returning to wrestling. He is still in good shape and Vince Russo was a big fan of his back in WCW.

Russo was also a big fan of Bob Backlund while watching wrestling as a kid and is scripting all of his segments. Jeff Jarrett is also a fan of Backlund's from their time together in the WWF in the mid '90s. Nonetheless, the majority of people in TNA are strongly against using Backlund so often as it makes the product dated and they don't appreciate the comedy.

Goldberg said that he is still open to wrestling again and would go to TNA if they made the right offer, but that they have never come close to it.

The latest figures indicate that only 2% of the average Impact viewers order TNA PPVs.

During the Samoa Joe/Tyson Tomko match, Scott Steiner hit a legitimate punch to Joe's temple that knocked Joe silly. There was talk of taking him to a hospital as he was showing the signs of having a concussion but as he was involved in so many more elements of the tapings they kept him around. Losing to Tomko and getting beaten up so many times on TV recently is punishment as the booking team are very unhappy with Joe's remarks in ROH about 'hurting his knee tripping over some bad booking' in TNA. Some are so angry that they don't want him to get the title at all.

Jake Roberts had his false teeth come out of his mouth during a match with Casey Thompson at an indie show in Davie, Florida on the 3rd March. Roberts was in bad shape, having difficulty getting up after being knocked down, was out of condition and looked very disoriented at times. Thompson hit him with a forearm while Roberts was tangled in the ropes and the teeth flew out. The referee kicked the teeth to the corner and a security guard gave them back to Roberts. After the show Roberts told people to always brush their teeth so they don't lose them when they get older.

Former WCW wrestler Alex Wright has opened the Wright Stuff Pro Wrestling School in Nuremberg, Germany.

ECW on Sci-Fi Results: 3-13-07

Lashley TKOs the RKO
By Bryan Robinson
March 14, 2007

ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley has been in Mr. McMahon’s crosshairs since he accepted Donald Trump’s offer to represent him against The Chairman’s Umaga at WrestleMania 23’s Battle of the Billionaires. Tonight on ECW on Sci Fi, Lashley overcame yet another challenge by the egomaniacal billionaire, but this time with the inadvertent help of the bickering Rated-RKO.

On the heels of Lashley’s vow to break Mr. McMahon in half – and his Rated-RKO tag team partner’s qualification for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania – Edge approached McMahon on Raw and volunteered Randy Orton’s services in teaching the ECW World Champion a lesson. But Edge, who is also competing in the Money in the Bank Match, appeared to have ulterior motives. He persuaded McMahon to include a stipulation that Orton would lose his WrestleMania spot if he failed to show up for the match.

Orton was outraged, but showed up for the encounter with Lashley. He demanded that Edge give him backup in his match. Edge insisted he had Orton's back, but hardly did anything to help his former World Tag Team Champion partner.

The Rated-R Superstar was ejected for blatant interference in front of the referee halfway into the match. He flashed a curious, devious grin as he left ringside, sparking speculation that perhaps he may have gotten himself ejected on purpose.

The momentum between ECW World Champion and Orton briefly swung back and forth. The cocky Orton, angered by Edge's ejection, channeled his frustration to take the advantage over Lashley, but the valiant champion battled back and finished Orton off with his trademark Dominator running powerslam.

Lashley's victory brought out a seething Mr. McMahon and the two engaged in an intense staredown at the close of ECW on Sci Fi. What else will the evil billionaire have up his sleeve as he continues to make Lashley's life a living hell before WrestleMania?

While Edge and Orton will battle six other Superstars at WrestleMania for a World Championship opportunity, the ECW Originals will be fighting for their survival against the New Breed. In a precursor to their Eight-Man Tag Team Match at sports-entertainment’s greatest spectacle, the two factions faced off in a Battle Royal on ECW on Sci Fi. Tommy Dreamer emerged victorious, overcoming a two-on-one advantage at the end in favor of two of the New Breed's most cunning members, Elijah Burke and Matt Striker. But the real boost for the ECW Originals came after the match.

Hardcore Legend-turned-bestselling author Mick Foley came to ECW on Sci Fi and endorsed the Originals. Foley initially didn't receive a warm welcome from Dreamer, Sandman, Sabu and Rob Van Dam, who believed he was there only to promote his new book, The Hardcore Diaries.

But Foley – who battled with and alongside the four men as Cactus Jack in the original ECW and is credited with bringing hardcore to WWE – said he didn't come to ECW on Sci Fi to just plug his new book. He came to see what was going on between the Originals and the New Breed firsthand. Their matchup at WrestleMania, he said, is more than a turf war. It is a battle for the legacy and future of ECW.

“You guys have the chance to perform in front of 70,000 people," Foley said. "But you will have 70,001 people watching you that night. I will squeeze my fat ass in one of the seats in the upper deck at Ford Field and will raising my hand as I chant these letters with the rest of the people: E-C-W, E-C-W, E-C-W!" (WATCH)

The New Breed continues to look for reinforcements as WrestleMania approaches, and their most coveted prospect is undoubtedly CM Punk. Elijah Burke approached Punk with a proposal to join the New Breed for a second consecutive week. Though Punk seemed initially hostile to the offer, Burke is finding more ways to entice the straightedge Superstar.

Meanwhile, Snitsky has shown that he walks alone as he has wreaked havoc in the Land of the Extreme. He has attacked any and all ECW Superstars in random attacks for several weeks; no one has been safe. This week, Snitsky demolished two poor souls in his first sanctioned match on ECW on Sci Fi, continuing his path of rage.

Tommy Dreamer won a New Breed-ECW Originals Battle Royal

Arnold Skaaland passes away

Another sad day for wrestling fans.

According to WWE.com, The "Golden Boy" Arnold Skaaland passed away late Tuesday evening at the age of 82. He died with his wife at his side.

Skaaland is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame and has been a member of the WWE family for over 50-years. He was a known manager, wrestler and promoter and one of the stockholders of the early Capitol Wrestling Corporation.

1967 saw he and Spiros Arion win the WWE United States Tag Team Championship. Another career highlight was when he served as the referee for the famous 1962 match in Japan between "Classy" Freddie Blassie and Rikidozan. What most fans remember Skaaland for is the "throwing in of the towel" in the Bob Backlund vs. Iron Sheik WWF Title match in 1983.

Our condolences go out to the family, friends and fans of Mr. Skaaland.

Batista's Website Hacked, Snitsky Busted Open, More

Austin sent this: I was at the event in Liberty, New York on Saturday and Snitsky wrestled Hardcore Holly in an extreme rules match. Anyway Snitsky took a vicious chair shot to the head and it drew lots of blood. It drew so much I thought it couldn't be real. I watched ECW last night and there was a big gash in his head. Just thought that was interesting to know for all other fans.

Grant sent this one: I was recently randomly looking at wrestlers websites and I went to Batista's (www.davebatista.com) and the home page in big white letters it says Turkish hackers were here. There is also a big poem about the Armenians and it says peace at home peace in the world.

Tickets for ECW One Night Stand will go on sale April 7th. Ticket prices will range from $20 to $150. The show is scheduled for June 7th at the Jacksonville Veterans Arena in Jacksonville, FL.

source... better check out batista's page now...:D

WWE(R) Pay-Per-Views To Follow WrestleMania(R) Formula

STAMFORD, Conn.--In the spirit that has made WrestleMania the premier brand in the pay-per-view industry, every future World Wrestling Entertainment pay-per-views will feature talent and storylines from all three WWE programs: -- "Monday Night Raw," "Friday Night SmackDown," and "ECW: Extreme Championship Wrestling."

Starting with Backlash® on April 29, WWE fans will see all their favorite Superstars on every pay-per-view. This is a change from 2005 and 2006, when only four of WWE's 16 pay-per-views featured talent from more than one WWE brand.

"We have seen over the past two years that WWE pay-per-views have significantly better buy rates when more than one WWE brand is involved," said Kurt Schneider, Executive Vice President, Marketing. "WrestleMania, with an average of one million buys per event over the past three years, is the perfect example. This new direction will give our fans more of what they want in every one of our pay-per-views."

Schneider said that the tri-branded WWE pay-per-views will benefit from promotion on all three WWE prime time programs - "Monday Night Raw," (USA, 9/8C), "Friday Night SmackDown," (CW, 8/7C)and "ECW: Extreme Championship Wrestling" (Tuesdays, SCI FI, 10/9C). WWE has had the No. 1 prime time shows on USA, SCI FI, and The CW each week in January and February among households and total viewers, compared to programs with two or more telecasts. Throughout January and February, WWE programs reached 15.7 million viewers in 10.8 million households during the average week.

Ratings...

This week's Raw drew a 4.1 rating (3.8 first hour, 4.4 second hour), even with last week's rating.

In the key advertiser demographics, it drew a 3.6 rating for M18-49 and a 3.85 rating for M18-34, about even with the four-week average for the show.

ECW on Sci-Fi on Tuesday night (3/13) drew a 1.6 rating, down 0.1 from the 1.7 last week. Total viewership was 2.3 million. Quarter hour ratings ranged between 1.5 and 1.7 until the overrun, which peaked at 1.9 but lasted only one minute.

Steve Austin was the advertised special guest on ECW last week.

TNA Impact! Results: 3-15-07

TNA Impact on Spike TV
March 15, 2007
Taped March 12 in Orlando, Florida
Report by James Caldwell, Torch columnist

We open with a recap of every match at the Destination X PPV.

Inside the Impact Zone, Jim Cornette was inside a steel cage with everyone in the arena clapping it up. Cornette announced a ten-man Lethal Lockdown cage match. Two men begin. Every two minutes, a new man enters the ring. He then introduced Christian Cage as captain for Team 1. Mike Tenay decided to open his portion of the broadcast with a self-admitted dated reference to Lou Gehrig in comparison to Christian. Kurt Angle then came out as captain for Team 2. Cornette told both men that it's their responsibility to choose wisely and quickly. Christian interrupted and said he doesn't like the sound of this. Cornette told him to shut up and said no one cares whether Christian likes it or not. Cornette told him to focus on picking teammates.

After the usual Impact intro aired, Tenay and West started the hype machine for Lockdown. Tenay said the blood rivalry between Team 3D and LAX must continue tonight. They began talking about the X Division until A.J. Styles's heel music interrupted. Styles then limped out on a crutch with his neck in a brace. Styles screamed at Rhino whether this is what he wanted. He said the doctors have told him his neck and back and ankle will never be the same. Styles screamed that he wouldn't wish the same fate on Rhino. He then pulled out his cell phone and said he doesn't even have the heart to tell his wife that he won't be able to put food on the table. Tenay and West with their best work to date by keeping quiet during Styles's promo. Rhino then answered Styles's call and entered the cage. He asked Styles what makes him think he hasn't already called Styles's wife. Rhino then polled the crowd whether he should just knock the crap out of Styles one more time, then he demanded to know what their feud is all about. Styles said he understands that Rhino was just looking out for him and he wants the feud to be over. Rhino asked the crowd whether they want the feud to be over. "NO!" the fans screamed. Styles pleaded with Rhino to make it over. "It's over," Rhino said. They shared a brief stare, then quietly shook hands. Rhino threw the mic down and turned his back, then Styles tried to slam him with a crutch, but Rhino sniffed it out. Styles then surprised him with a low blow and beat him down with his crutch. Styles ripped off his neck brace and circled around Rhino as they cut to a break. Timing. Pacing. Deliberate. Intrigue. Way thumbs up segment.

[Commercial Break]

[Q2]

We came back with Styles and Rhino still going at it inside the cage. Rhino powered up with right hand blows, then he threw Styles into the side of the cage wall. Christian suddenly hit the ring with a crutch in hand and beat down Rhino. He helped Styles to his feet, then both men pounded Rhino with repeated crutch shots. Kurt Angle then led Samoa Joe to the cage. Styles bailed, but Christian didn't make it out. He then tried to climb up the cage to escape, and he managed to land on the outside before Team Angle could grab him. He then scampered through the stands to the backstage area. Solid beginning of the build to Lethal Lockdown.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash was with LAX and Konnan in his wheelchair. Alex Shelley was in the group now with a slicked-back hair look. Konnan said they're like Google. When they sleep, their stock rises. Awesome. Konnan told "fat boy" Brother Ray that he might have put him in a wheelchair, but his time in the wheelchair isn't permanent unlike Ray's obesity. Konnan said LAX would take out Team 3D tonight. All is right with the world when Konnan has a mic.

[Commercial Break]

We came back with Kevin Nash and Alex Shelley standing in the ring, but they went backstage where Chris Sabin was on the Playstation. Bob Backlund was doing aerobics in the background. Sabin said he's god of the wrestling, so he can play video games all day. Backlund then interrupted and wanted to know why they were having a discourse without him. Borash explained they were just playing video games, which Backlund didn't appreciate. He said they should be training to go into battle. Sabin just stood there with a finger in his mouth, then Sabin went back to playing his games when Backlund left.

Back in the ring, Nash introduced a re-mix of Randy Savage's theme music. Tenay said Nash has been trying to get the X Division wrestlers some personality and get them "out of their shell." Nash, with his ever-changing hair, shook hands with Lethal, then Kaz of Serotonin came out for a match, followed by Lynn.

1 -- JAY LETHAL (w/Nash and Sonjay Dutt) vs. KAZ vs. JERRY LYNN

Early on, Kaz caught Lethal with an ace crusher when Lethal went for a springboard move. Lynn then caught Kaz with an inverted DDT, good for a two count when Lethal broke up the pin. Kaz came back with a roll up pin attempt on Lynn before catching Lethal with a German suplex all in one motion for a nearfall. They exchanged control before Lethal hit the Lethal Combination - a backbreaker into STO - on Kaz to win the match. After the match, Christopher Daniels hit the ring and took out Lethal. He then gave Lynn the Last Rites.

WINNER: Lethal in 3:00. Basic X Division match. Good action and a more deliberate pace than we're accustomed to from the X Division lately. (*)

Backstage, Borash interviewed Christian Cage and A.J. Styles. Christian made it official that Styles is his first partner. He said Styles will become a huge star in TNA by aligning himself with Christian. Styles didn't like that verbiage from Christian, and said he joined his team only because Christian said he would have a title shot. Borash whispered that Tomko has the same stipulation. Christian told Styles to keep that quiet. He then said they're going to find out the third member of Team Christian later tonight.

[Q3]

2 -- TEAM 3D (BROTHER RAY & BROTHER DEVON & BROTHER RUNT w/Johnny Rodz) vs. LAX (HERNANDEZ & HOMICIDE & ALEX SHELLEY w/Konnan)

Konnan joined commentary to discuss Tenay and TNA and Team 3D living in the past by continuing over Team 3D. Homicide worked on Ray's injured left arm from their PPV match. Ray then came back with a back elbow smash off the ropes and Runt hit a double-foot stomp on Homicide. Hernandez then ran into the ring and took a drop toe hold from Runt before Shelley pulled Runt to the outside and slammed him into the ring steps. The action began to break down on the outside before they cut to a break.

[Commercial Break]

Back from the break, Shelley hit a frog splash on Runt, then Hernandez came off the top with a big splash on Runt. "That's how we do," Konnan said. He had a pin, but Devon broke it up. Tenay then announced a big six-man tag match for next week's show involving Christian's team and Angle's team. The action here broke down. Devon hit a power move, then Konnan said, "Krispy Kreme and Butterbean can do all the power moves they want," but they can't beat LAX. Hernandez then picked up Runt and press slammed him over the ropes on top of Rodz. Team 3D set up the diving headbutt on Shelley, which Konnan said should be a DQ because it's a low blow. They called for the tables, then the referee was distracted on the outside. Shelley took a 3D through the table in the ring, but the ref was still distracted. Konan then told the ref to do his job and get in the ring. With perfect timing, Hernandez rolled up Devon from behind and scored the pin.

WINNERS: LAX in 10:00. A good TV match. Pacing has been solid throughout the show, and this was a good example. Two thumbs up for Konnan on commentary. Tenay + Konnan = winning formula. (*1/2)

[Q4]

After the match, Konnan told Team 3D that they've beaten them in every type of match imaginably, so now they're just going to ruin their legacies. Ray held his head in shame as Konnan wrapped up his promo.

Backstage, Serotonin was assembled around Raven. He cut a promo with his mask on, which meant every other word was inaudible. He said he doesn't care about wins and losses. He only cares about inflicting psychological damage by making opponents feel pain like when their parents beat them as kids. Click. Raven told Bentley that he might disagree with his philosophy, but he needs to hit Kaz. Bentley refused, threw down his stick, then Raven slapped him repeatedly. Raven told Devine to hit him, then Devine dropped his stick. Raven caned him. Far worse than any Dungeon of Doom segment.

[Commercial Break]

Backstage, Borash said something crazy was happening in the men's locker room. He approached a stall and found Eric Young scrubbing a toilet. Young told Borash to help him get out of the contract with Robert Roode. Borash wanted to know who Young's friend is. He suggested calling him to help him out. Young pulled out his cell phone and started dialing a number, but Roode interrupted. He told Borash that Young is his property and if he wants to talk to Young, he needs to go through him. Like a TNA media interview? Roode told Young that things are only going to get worse.

We cut to the ring where Christian and Styles were standing for a promo. Christian then introduced the third member of Team Cage: Abyss. He came out, but he stopped short of joining Christian and Styles in the ring. Sting's music interrupted, then Sting showed up on the entrance ramp. Sting said Abyss is on his own team now. He said Abyss saw the light Sunday night and he's a new man. Sting said they still need to get the final piece of Abyss's past out of the way, but they can discuss that later. He told Abyss that all he needs to do is reach out and grab the opportunity. Christian cut him off and said that's a bunch of crap. He told Abyss that Sting doesn't care about him. Jim Cornette then interrupted and said he loves drama like everyone else, but he loves a good 'ole fashion wrestling match a little bit more. He booked Styles & Christian vs. Sting & Abyss on next week's show. Sting cut him off and said they shouldn't wait until next week. Sting and Abyss then hit the ring and cleared the heels to close a solid show.

Did anyone notice that during the Sting VS. Abyss match, there were chants of "Fire Russo!" Because I've noticed that TNA has gone to shit in the last few months ever since Vince Russo went back to the creative team on TNA. Stupid gimmick matches, lackluster and water down matches such as Angle Vs. Steiner. And who cares about VKM and the Hearthrobs? Vince Russo is trying to cater to the mainstream entertainment fans not to wrestling fans.

A MySpace page has been created which compaigns for the firing of Vince Russo: http://www.myspace.com/firevincerusso. It's a bit unfair to Russo, who is only a minority influence over the format, pacing, and storylines on the show, as long-time booking team members Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantel are primarily responsible for the product on TV. So getting rid of Russo wouldn't necessarily change things dramatically, as the show has had many of the same traits which are criticized today before Russo was hired last fall.

Not impartial either way with Russo being part of the TNA creative team. If he helps gain new fans and attention to TNA, more power to him. If he fails in his duties, whatever they may be, they should let him go. People need to realize ideas that may sound good and look good on paper may not always work and when they don't, those who come up with the ideas should change their tactics or start finding another job.

Anger abound
By Lennie DiFino
March 16, 2007

With just over two weeks remaining until WrestleMania 23, the tension between World Heavyweight Champion Batista and Undertaker is at a boiling point.

Batista began his night as a guest on Miz TV, and after The Miz insulted Batista by saying, “I don’t think you can stop Undertaker,” the young SmackDown Superstar played an early April Fool’s joke on The Animal, having paid someone to turn out the lights and play Undertaker’s music. The World Heavyweight Champion was not amused, and had the last laugh, delivering an explosive Batista Bomb.

Later in the night, Batista sat ringside on commentary as Undertaker faced King Booker in one-on-one action.

With Undertaker poised to capture a victory, Finlay interfered with the shillelagh, and he and Booker double-teamed the Phenom as Batista looked on. Undertaker fought back and dismantled Finlay and King Booker, and then threw the Irishman into Batista.

After laying King Booker out, Undertaker walked his way up the ramp and turned to see an angry Batista staring from the ring. In 16 days at WrestleMania 23, these two Superstars will square off for the richest prize in sports-entertainment – the World Heavyweight Championship.

MVP will also be seeking a championship on April 1 as he goes up against United States Champion Chris Benoit. Porter defeated El Grande Latte with the Playmaker, and continued to berate Benoit, even labeling him as a coward. General Manager Theodore Long then granted the cocky MVP his WrestleMania wish. Benoit made his way out and brawled with MVP, looking to apply the Crossface. If Benoit is able to get MVP in his clutches at Ford Field, Porter’s wish may become a nightmare.

Mr. Kennedy and Matt Hardy, two of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match participants at WrestleMania, were in action against each other. Kennedy still claims to be “the future of sports-entertainment,” but Hardy is hoping to assert his own legacy.

While Kennedy claimed prior to the match that nobody would stop his ascension up the ladder at WrestleMania, Matt Hardy stopped the loudmouth on this night. Hardy defeated Kennedy with the Twist of Fate, as he continues to build momentum heading into the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Kane sent a clear message to The Great Khali, as he destroyed Daivari and then dragged his opponent out of the arena with a hook. Last week, Kane was referred to as demented, twisted, and sick. This week, the Big Red Monster showed WWE fans just how far he will take his battle with Khali, bringing flashbacks to his movie See No Evil.

WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick teamed with Playboy cover girl Ashley to take on MNM in a Six-Person Tag Match. London and Kendrick have become the fourth longest Tag Champions in WWE history, holding the titles for 300 days. Nitro, Mercury and Women’s Champion Melina stole the victory from the high-octane trio after Melina interfered. After the match, Ashley and Melina fought outside the ring until being separated by their teams. As Ashley and Melina head toward a showdown at WrestleMania, this personal and bitter rivalry is becoming as hot as the two Divas.

Hornswoggle, SmackDown’s leprechaun, wished all WWE fans a very happy St. Patrick’s Day, but was met with screams when he requested Queen Sharmell, “Kiss me, I’m Irish.”

Finally, Mr. Fuji was announced as the latest inductee into WWE’s Hall of Fame, joining the Class of 2007.

Matches
Matt Hardy def. Mr. Kennedy
MVP def. El Grande Latte
MNM def. WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London & Brian Kendrick & Ashley

Yahoo News: Pro wrestlers linked to steroids

Eleven professional wrestlers, including the WWE's Randy Orton, have joined the list of athletes linked to a nationwide steroids investigation.

SI.com reported Monday that Orton allegedly received eight prescriptions for six different drugs — including stanozolol, nandrolone and testosterone — between March 2004 and August 2004. According to the documents SI.com reviewed, two doctors whose names also appear in Gary Matthews Jr.'s file, wrote prescriptions for Orton.

Orton, through the WWE, declined comment, SI.com said.

In its review of documents, SI.com reported it found Adam Copeland, a.k.a. Edge, and Shane Helms, a.k.a. The Hurricane, received HGH from Applied Pharmacy in Mobile, Ala., one of the pharmacies raided in the investigation led by Albany, N.Y., District Attorney David Soares.

Through the WWE, Copeland and Helms didn't respond to a request for comment, SI.com said.

WWE spokesman Gary Davis told SI.com that WWE policy prohibits performance-enhancing drugs but would not say whether any wrestlers have tested positive since the policy was enacted.

A statement release Monday night by WWE said the allegations reported by SI.com occurred before the organization implemented its "Talent Wellness Program," which deems "prescriptions obtained over the Internet and/or from suppliers of prescription drugs from the Internet are not considered to have been given for a legitimate medical purpose."

Also linked to the scandal, in various reports, are baseball's Jose Canseco, John Rocker, Jerry Hairston Jr. and David Bell, former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield, Pittsburgh Steelers doctor Richard Rydze, 1996 Olympic wrestling gold medalist Kurt Angle and bodybuilder Victor Martinez.

Monday, SI.com also reported Arizona doctor David Wilbirt's name has come up in multiple files, including Angle, Oscar Gutierrez (stage name Rey Mysterio) and former WWE star Eddie Guerrero, who died in 2005.

Through the WWE, Gutierrez declined comment to SI.com about the report that Wilbirt had prescribed him nandrolone and stanozolol.

Wilbirt told SI.com he's not practicing medicine now.

"I'll tell you one thing and then this conversation is going to end," Wilbirt told SI.com when asked about the professional wrestlers. "They had done blood work and had laboratory work done and they had come to see me."
