VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson apologized Wednesday for calling for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, only hours after he denied saying Chavez should be killed. "Is it right to call for assassination?" Robertson said. "No, and I apologize for that statement. I spoke in frustration that we should accommodate the man who thinks the U.S. is out to kill him." Chavez, whose country is the world's fifth-largest oil exporter, has emerged as one of the most outspoken critics of President Bush.

erm.. that's funny, sounds like some in the US do want him killed. this dude is funny. isn't he the same guy who wanted new judges a couple of years ago on the supreme court and prayed to god for them on TV? don't know I saw it on that funny show on CNN/Comedy Central. what a nut.

Bush is a big turd. Just a big old turd, he's not a conservative. That doesn't stop me from looking at international/domestic happenings rationally, unlike Norton who has such a permanently negative view of this country that he's always looking to place blame on us.... even when it's clearly not applicable.

There's a 99.999% chance Norton is a socialist. Norton has something I like to call a "Ridiculoso Bias." It's so fucking ridiculous I had to invent a more extreme version of the word ridiculous to suit it.

ONly Chavez has the Balls (and oil) to say what Latin America thinks.

America needs to get thier shit in gear if they don't want to lose Latin America's resources, markets and influence to China.

We'd be better off working with Chavez than Working against him...

Then again, I'm some crazy Commie who thinks that we should normalize relations with Cuba. Mostly because it's the ONly Latin american Country that I would want to vist.

I've developed my own Politcal School of thought. I haven't named it yet. Instead of focusing on the Laborers like socialism does, it focuses on the plight of Consumers. It's an Ultracapitalistic view.

I don't hav a Permanently negative view of the US. I have a very Skeptical View of the USA. I spent years and years of my life easing my Skeptical View of the USA. Finnaly, I was what most people call a Patriot.... Look at all the great work we did in WWII, Kosovo and Afghanistan....
