I have one and it doesn't bother me at all.

We still keep in contact to this day. :)

BTW, yashiroTCM, you're very brave to say that you are gay on these boards.

Frankly, I wonder how bad this is compared to living in the traditional Catholic and macho country of Mexico :p

My friend Brad (who lives fairly close to me) still tries to hide his sexuality from his dad and a few other locals that wouldn't tolerate it.

I think yashiroTCM should be congratulated for even saying it on these boards. We knew some people would make fun of him.

I must admit the "whoa, you said that on NG.com barrier" was already broken by Abasuto's admission of cross-dressing. Prior to that, things like this came out to the dismay of the subject (like ClassicMode's dick picture).

I heard about Abasuto, but that was really true? (I haven't been keeping so up to date with threads on NG I guess...).

But I still think it's a brave thing to do. When my friend Brad came out to me, I was like the third person he told. Since I supported him through the rough time he went with his current gf we're still friends. I really hope Brad's other friends still support him as well.

Well I have lots since im homo myself :p

And im no girl/queer like, I actually dislike people acting that way, I have tons of hetero friends, they know about me and we are ok with it, not that every gay in the World is gotta be a queer or sexual maniac, I think people is worth the amount of smiles that he/she is able to bloom on every other human being rather than a heart that feels "different".

Regardz

As being in the middle of conservative/liberal here you're exactly the kind of gay dudes with whom I get along. Not aggressively horny/annoying. I don't like to think about buttsex so if it stays private life I have no problems. The ones who bother me are the very vocal, fake high-voice, shrieking, giggling girly-men.

To Bobak: I'm Catholic and I mean what I say and agree with the Church 99% of the time. The dogma doesn't mandate hating others, one should love sinners and saints. Just because I don't approve of someone doesn't mean I should scorn them. It's not a matter of religious affiliation since all Christianity labels homosexuality unfavorable. It's more a matter of people being either extreme: seeing nothing wrong with homosexualtiy and hating homophobes while claiming to be tolerant,--or people being blind and hating gays more than they do burglars, thugs, evil people et al.

I'm bisexual myself, though most of my friends tend to be straight. Their sexuality, whatever their preference, is okay with me. :)

I personally don't believe in bisexuality.

Now there's a sentence I've read several times and just can't quite understand.

I see it as a "cool" way of saying you are gay.

Kind of like trying to render yourself a "more interesting" person, because you are open to have sex with either a man or a woman.

Saying you are simply gay doesn't turn you into a "crazy sex party person" as saying you are bi does.

Anyway, I cannot understand how would someone be bisexual, after all, it's a matter of sexual preference, and there will always be preference for some sex over the other.

It's because most people like to view things as black or white. The grey area in the middle confuses and/or scares both sides.

Refer to chart. Even though I consider myself "straight", given that chart and being totally honest. I'm probaby a 1.5

Not at all.

Saying it's the grey area that "confuses and scares" normal people relates to what I just stated.

I came out of the closet with the help of my "gay guru" Kevin Sorbo. He helped me understand that the physical and mental health problems I was having were due to a backlash from denying my true sexuality. :emb: I beat off to Hercules a few times a week. It doesn't beat the real thing but meh... :(

It probably is a crass term, but more to the point describes the difference between being emotionally homosexual and ambiguous sexuality. I think there's a line.

LOL! You dont want to know...

Anywayz, I've never had any problem of any kind with the people that knows about me (No that I die to let the world know about me) and I think thats because I've proved 'em all that I'm an honorable person.

And for those how think that a Sexual preference is exclusively linked to sex itself, hell they're so wrong, cuz actually if I'd really were to fall in love to someone I wouldnt mind about not having sex EVER (No joking here), feelings is all about to me.

Robert, Bobak, etc. thanks for your support guys :p

Regards
