Well I got myself Chaos Field as an X mas present.

So far its pretty interesting, I've only put about an hour of play into it.
It plays great and it looks good but like some of the newer shmups it just seems like its missing some personality(IMHO). Oh well, pick it up your DC needs some love.

The AV switch I have it setup to has been reversed in that I click a button to switch from my horizontal to vertical screen instead of different systems. I'm still looking for a nice vertical cab but for now this does the trick

thanks for the comments guys . in that pic my xbox,panasonic Q,ps1,N64 and gamecube are missing all packed away

also ive modded that hori pro stick for neo AES use .. best thing i every done

Porbably too much but it was $1200 shipped across country from AI. It was sold as "New" the coin counter reads only 31 credits and the cab was in excellent shape both inside and out except for a bit of yellowing. I find the screen to be most important though and it was virtually never used so I'm a happy camper. It's also got a different control pannel than yours, it allows Dreamcast controllers to be plugged in, it has wires inside for them to hook to something though I haven't quite figured it out yet.

I'm looking for something to play my vertical games on now, I really wanted a Taito Egret but it seems one in nice shape is quite hard to find. You don't know where I could get my hands on one do you? Other than AI. I might even go for a Taito Egret II or Astro City cab. Do you know if the Egret II has a monitor that rotates like the first gen model? Can be done in about 30seconds with one person?

I would go for an Egret II, much more sexy. And for me once the monitor was turned it would stay that way.

She has buisness over here often (She runs a game shop, and was my japanese teacher), and has accsess to some great, great stuff, both arcade and console. She drops by when she can to visit, and she always brings cool goodies!!!

Damn...good luck finding an Egret II,man. I've been looking for one of those suckers for MONTHS! However,I do know that Japhei scored one off ebay a little over six months ago,and the seller was a mere 10 blocks away from my current location...that bastard... :mad:
