mvsplayer = timewaster/bum

Hello,

I've had a system on hold for him nearly 3 weeks
now and it seems the only thing he can buy is his
own bullsh*t.

I've turned down offers repeatedly for my turbo-duo
console for this guy who obviously can't afford it
in the first place only to be left here a few weeks
later with nothing more than a bunch of private
messages stating he will respond which he hasn't
or that he will pay soon which he also has not.

Needless to say as a seller he appears to be a
decent fellow but in my own experience with him
as a buyer I'd ask for a deposit first before holding
as much as a hotdog for him.

p.s.- It's very apparent he is a flake because he
has more than enough time to send private
messages, make posts and login to the forums
instead of paying for items people kindly placed
on hold for him.

like i said before i do not deal with assholes, i am a busy man and i do what i can when i can and if you can not under stand that, that is fine. as of right now ive had to go out of town for family reasons and trust me you of all people are the last thing on my mind.

everyone else has seemed to understand this why cant you?

Hmmmmm is changing you mind or having family issues or money issues a really big deal? I dont think this makes him a bad guy does it?

I can understand your grief but things do come up and thats just part of selling/trading with the public.

My advice is to stop holding your items for people and go with a first come fist serve basis. My 2 cents.

oh and the duo in question was supposly from a convention which didnt have the hu card cover, no pictures were supplied i asked for you to send first to me so i could atleast inspect it to see if it was worth the $150 you wanted fot it.
then you pm'd me with a smart ass remark and i responded with there was no reason for the uproar, and you then responded with a appology , which i acceptted , saying you were busy and that you would get back to me when you were not at your mothers house. you did get back to me, which i did respond say ing please hold it as im looking for one. i am in the procces of looking for money that i sent to a very nice and respectful saler which i decided to help out in a time of need and not some one looking for a quick buck. i am also out of town, i am also very busy, and you have the nerve to question my spending abilities, you have caught me at a bad time and i will not be doing and sort of trade/sale with you, as you have the need to put me a time waster in your sig, you question my integrity as a man, as a person over a mere $150. i was hopeing that i was going to be able to get back to you before your "newbie" ass would have to resort to this, but as i have said i am a busy man, and i now have two people on my ignore list.

i appologize to the mods and all the other forum members here for venting as i have, but this should have stayed as a pm/email matter. oldergames it seems is trying to up his "feedback" by bashing me over a petty $150 , , and again older games if you need $150 dollars that bad so quick this is the wrong forum for you,

Honestly, given the anonymous nature of the internet I'll often just go with the first come, first served basis. Too often people back out of deals or completely cease to maintain contact, it's terribly easy to do online.

hmmnn... I'd understand if you are busy but when your posting
to threads and loggin onto forums it's fairly obvious you are a flake.

Note: I do have a *real* job and make very good money. I turned down
other offers for this system because it was placed on hold for you. I
could care less about if it sells or not. The point is that you are a flake
and waste peoples time hence the topic.

Actually it does. These issues arise in everyday life, however it
wouldn't kill you to communicate that. He failed to do so and only
kept dragging the deal on when others who had the money and
were serious were turned down because for all I knew this guy
was still serious.

Believe me guy I know how these issues arise but thats not the
point. He is a timewaster - he failed to communicate his issues
and failed to pay after many courteous requests.

All he has done in this thread is whine about the deal, if he
had any problem with it knowing I put item(s) on hold he
was more than welcome to back out. He did nothing close
to showing such intent and mislead me all the way.

In other words as I said: mvsplayer = timewaster

then by all means do not be a total flake in your future deals

We really don't need to scrape over everything with a fine

I agree with you completely on this. I honestly figured giving him time
to pay was a professional thing to do. I've had people hold things for
me but always paid within a couple days. This has definately changed
my policy as a seller.

I think I've pretty much said everything there is to say
and do not wish to waste anymore time on mvsplayer
which includes replying to his insults or excuses for
why he can't be a man and tell someone he can't

im sitting in a hotel lobby on there internet reading all this, oldergames, i may be a time waster in your eyes, but i appologize for the delay of responses but i did respond, our deal fell through on my part, i will take blame, plain and simple. so lets be men about this and part ways as men and not communicate on a buyers salers level. we deffintly do not see eye to eye and we may never will. but as a gamer to gamer i will be as helpful as i possibly can if any question should ever arise. but in the saleing threads lets just not communicate. or until we can work this out.

One last thing, although he probably isn't worth it:

1) I sent him pictures

2) The "smart ass remark" was my saying something
like: "Maybe it's just me but when I'm involved in a
trade/deal with someone I stay in contact instead
of ignore their pm's or waste their time."

Of course I never apologized as there is no need to.

3) I was at my Mother-In-Law's not my mothers house
and I was using her home computer to access the internet
after our main line was knocked out by some Mickey Mouse
of a contracter next door. Ironically this goes to show you
how I do my absolute best to stay in communication
with people I trade with. Of course when you are
being called on your own b.s. you'd like to sit here
and pretend you were informed otherwise.

4) Between both of us you are the newb. I have conducted
many trades/sales and have bought/sold/traded an
almost countless supply of rare prototypes for various
systems. I will not have some deadbeat buyer tarnish
my long history in the retrogaming scene.

Last but not least:

mvsplayer is a flake, and now a liar as-well.

to the other poster: he did send emails but mostly stall
tactics at best which ended with "I'll get back with you
tonight" and re-started a week later with my "wtf?".

Just so there is no "confusion" you tell someone to
hold something for you please expect to pay there should
be nothing confusing about it. It's basic economics.

To be quite honest your comment on not doing a deal
with me after this is sort of wasted text as it's only
obvious that this thread was started because you
weren't planning to to begin with and cost me time
I could have spent on something more useful
like watching grass grow, or pissing. :mr_t:
