Have you tried a good cleaning of the cartridge and slot? How about just pushing the cart all the way down and pulling it up slightly? I was getting some wierd errors like this before I gave my entire collection a good cleaning last weekend. Now it seems to work great.
For good info on cleaning take a look at the HardMVS website. Although instead of how he recommends cleaning cartridge slots, I'd recommend getting some thin cardboard (thinner than the boards in a cart) cutting them down to the size so they'll fit in the slot, then cutting a piece of clean white paper and folding it in half over the cardboard. Then soak the paper in the electronics cleaner. The roughness of the paper should be plenty good enough to clean the contacts on your slots. The thought of using a brush just plain scares me.

the two video RAM chips are NEVER flat pack chips. They will both be located by the LSPC A0 or A2 chip.
TMM2018s will work great.

My mini 1 slot has a work ram error, any ideals where I can buy new chips

Fine, thanks for the info but my board doesn't seems to have CXK5816 chips but CXK5814.
Can I relace them with TMM2018 or does I need another chip ? And, in addition, where could I find TMM2018 online ? (in case my local supplier don't carry them)
Anyway, thanks for the info

hehe, I hope I don't ever need your help, but glad you are aboard!
. For 5 years, I had the joy of answering the phones with: "SNK service here, may I help you?"The Neo saves bookkeeping and high score data for up to 8 games. That goes for one slots on up.neomvsfan said:Ill ask tony this.
I have a neo geo 2 slot motherboard. When i view the audits section in the softdip settings, it shows a list of games from slot 1 to slot 8 and gives me the name of the game how many times it was played etc. remember that this is on a 2 slot board!
question is, does this have to do with the linking feature i read about so often (and find so little info about)?
if so, how do i use it? id love to daisy chain a few 4 slot boards together.

Link-Up Feature
Several of the early Neo Geo AES releases featured a socket on top of the home cartridge that allowed two home systems with the same cartridge to be linked together for up to 4-player action. For a long time there was a belief that no such cables were made, however a number were created in included beneath the trays of at least some link-up games (Riding Hero is the confirmed game, see picture). The three games were League Bowling, Riding Hero, and Thrash Rally. For an extended discussion about the Link-Up Feature, please see THIS thread.
Check out the threads "within" this thread...(for MVS etc.

So the MVS games listed have this socket on them? I may have to pick a couple up.
