From the start, I just would like to say we're only missing 2 major squads. Those are Scotland ( I love their outfit ) and Romenia.
Every post is welcome, I would be very pleased if Ray_7 would be here along with us comenting the disscussion of the event.

Half-time, Greece are looking good, have played really direct attacking football and Portugal have looked worried when Greece have ran at them. Portugal have had much more posession but have not used it well and Greece have been solid at the back and shielded the ball well.
Very poor loss of posession and then defence backing off for the Greek goal. A good finish though and Greece have had a couple of other good chances. At the other end Rui Costa should have done much better with his free header but Portugal haven't really created much end product despite always looking threatening.
I expect Portugal to get back in the game second half, but it might be a case of whether or not they can find the breakthrough... could finish 1-0.
Oh dear Portugal, Seitaridis bundled over in the box by Ronaldo, Basinas converts from the spot. 2-0, game over?

Ive always held that Rui Costa is just an average player, mostly poor even, he has nice tecjnique and can pass well enough, apart from that his all round game is awful.
Way to prove me right today.
I hope Russia wins this one, so that Spain gets eliminated early.
Although that won't happen, Spain will probably get very far this EK.

Well, we've been owned on our first match because of two childish errors.
However, this is not the tactic we should be playing. Attacking football is meant to be played with two strikers from the first minute. That brazilian coach will never understand that.
The greeks have shown they're strong on the defense but those bastards have been lucky. Pierluigi Collina forgot to blow the whistle on a penalty though. I always thought we were not having a good preparation for this event and it was shown today.
Anyway, there's more matches to be played and I'm gonna see Spain V Russia now.
@Baseley : Rui Costa isn't overrated. Couto is. This isn't just the right formation for him to play.
And Spain scores.. they don't play too good either.. :eek:

i was very dissapointed yesterday with portugal's lost...maybe too confident playing in front of their home crowds? i mean look at maniche, he plays like the half is 5 mins long, he rushed every pass, and every shot...
when deco came in, gameplay changed a bit. that guy's creativity is obviously needed in midfield. figo should accept him in the team and combine with him if portugal is to qualify from the group.
