So...what brand of clothes do you normally wear?

I usually go thug style and buy all my "gear" at K-mart. I get all the K-mart brands like K-martikan and K-martson.

Usually a band shirt of some type (Supergrass, Green Day, Rollins Band, Nerf Herder, Social D, Rooney, or something else) or most of the time some sports jersey (Oakland Seals, Buffalo Sabres, Class of 1967 NHL hat, or one of my jerseys I used from my youth hockey).

levi's 550's 32 waist 32 leg (tight jeans...nut huggers), and any sort of t-shirt.

I suppose I tend to like "skater" clothes if only because they're generally cheap and are comfortable to wear. I don't really have a favorite brand but a lot of my shirts come from Old Navy since they're cheap.

I fall into the Gap..quite often actually..

sometimes J.Crew when I'm feeling sexy..

polo sport, rip curl, globe (shoes), dkny, CK, any good shit.

I'll wear anything but Fubu, Abercrombie & Fitch and Nautica.

I've had a recent liking for BKE tyler jeans, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and GAP for when I don't feel like the urban hip hop look. My friends sometimes tease me and call me a homo when I wear some of those clothes especially the BKE Tyler pants seeing as they are slightly tight in the thigh and flare out slightly at the calfs making them slightly resemble bell bottoms(looking like girls pants but they are still guy pants) but when you are as sexy as me what the ladies think is all that matters :smirk:

For the urban hip hop look i mostly wear Ecko, South Pole, Sean Jean etc. with a matching du-rag to compliment my outfit. I usually wear this type of stuff at the club.

I'm still waiting for my Toughskins(tm) with the built in knee patches to wear out...:(

oh and if you're white, please don't wear fubu, south pole, ecko, mecca etc. you just look like a tool. lol

stuff like tribal gear is ok though.

anyways, the shirts i got say mecca once and small as hell, can barely see it. i bought em because they looked good, not because of what brand they were.

Eddie Bauer for me. Mostly because their Tall XL cuts are perfectly tailored for my body type. They also have a good mix of professional/casual/semi-urban stuff.

I avoid anything with a huge ass logo on it. If I can spot you from 10 ft away and know what logo/brand it is, you might as well stand on the side of I-95 because you are officially a walking billboard.

I wouldn't waste money like that. You're still a young guy trying to establish yourself.

I mean, when you have plenty money and not a lot to do with it, then fine, but I can imagine you could really do more fun stuff with what the military gives you if you don't blow it off on some fancy clothes that maybe only you would appreciate (for a short while even...).

I'm still playing it smart, don't worry. See when I joined the air force and chose my career field they gave me a "sign up bonus" so I have a a few G's in the bank. Also i get something called "COLA" which is cost of living allowance and being that germany has a higher cost of living than the states they put a few hundred extra in my paycheck. I'm getting payed what somebody 2 Ranks higher than me is getting payed in the states. I never use that money cuz i live on base and don't have to pay rent or utilities so thats just totally free money for banking.

I have 100 taken out of every one of my checks going to the Montgomery GI bill so I can go to college and I'm gonna start investing and do some mutual funds and a retirement plan. Its all working out.

Also here in Germany BMW's are much cheaper than the states and another big PLUS is at a military base people are always coming and going nonstop. When people can't sell their cars in enough time they tend to sell their cars for insanely low prices. Sometimes is sickening cuz its so low. You'll see people sell mid 90's BMW's for like 2,000 Dollars its fucking crazy. One guy sold his bmw for 250 dollars cuz he was leaving in 2 days!

I'm just tired of the norm. for most of my life i kinda just was there, never tried to dress nice or nothing, I just lived day to day like a zombie and looking like beavis and butthead and now i'm in europe and I wanna dress nice, look nice and enjoy myself. Everybody told me I'd probably look nice if i dressed nicer and I said fuck that until I joined the air force and was forced to dress nice and they custom made a full service dress suit for me and I realized what people were saying. Now i'm hooked. I gotta enjoy this now cuz when I go back to the states my little fantasy world is DONE.

However I tried a pair of Levis 525's on and they looked real(i hate to say this but....) GHEY on me. Do yo know any German pants like those? I wanted to buy some German shit and I don't know how to ask these people in German what brand is like that(thats why i have German class in like 5 minutes cuz I need to learn German). As a matter of fact Do you know any other brands german or not that are like that cuz I can't get BKE's anymore cuz they are only sold at one store in the states.
