31-year-old Boston Red Sox pitcher Pedro Martinez heaves 72-year-old to the ground
Man, that was classless. Sure, Zimmer looked like he wanted a piece of Pedro and Zimmer did in fact charge Pedro, and emotions were running high, but grabbing a 72-year-old man by the head and chucking him to the ground with that kind of force? Uncalled for.
And how about the head gesturing by Pedro? He should have stopped when he was ahead. No pun intended.
Wow, the series really has picked up its intensity. I think Burkett will do nothing crazy tomorrow (considering his makeup) but don't count out on David 'Boomer' Wells to stay entirely innocent. He's almost like Roger Clemens II in terms of emotion.
Just from a "super excitement" point of view, I want to see this series go 7 and have Pedro vs. Clemens in Game Seven at Yankee Stadium. Now that ... would ... be ... sick.
Am I the only one who thinks
the game was scripted it seemed more like wwe than mlb reeally pedro must have been practicing judo
