Mine is Last Action Hero. There might be others but it's the most obvious one I could think of. I even bought the DVD.

Last Action Hero is a good fuckin' movie.
The only movie I can think of that people don't seem to like is Natural Born Killers. I love that movie.

Everyone I know loves or loved The Last Bot Scout and Commando. I don't ever remember hearing about them as trashed.

-Mr. Nanny (Hulk Hogan, nuff said!)
-3 Ninjas part 1 (Home Alone meets Karate Kid)
-Home Alone 1 & 2 (I know most kids like these movies, but most adults don't I think)
-Little Monsters (Fred Savage, Howie Mandel, and a cool "monster under the bed, there's a fantasy mega world underneath" theme? C'mon, you can't beat that!)
-Cool Runnings (Not too sure how people perceived this one, but I like it lots, funny and inspiriing without too much corniness)

I havn't seen any of these since I was a kid (at least 8 years ago) but I loved them all then. I'd be willing to bet I'd still like them now.
I also like Last Action hero, and LOVE Natural Born Killers. :D

Starship Troopers rocked. The people who bitched about it being "silly" and everyone being "too pretty" missed the whole point. It was social satire.
Go get the special edition DVD and check out the features and commentaries. There's some great stuff in there.

It was one of the first grown up's books I read, when I was about nine. I have always had a real facination with ants (on my right hand side as I type is a bookshelf full of books on the thing) and Starship Troopers really tweaked that as well as the satire side of things (though Heinlein never meant it to be satirical). I dreamed of it being commited to film.
Then, when I was about 21 I was in the states staying with my then girlfriend. Went to see Men in Black and in the trailers was a cool film with ant things. All the way through the trailer I was sitting thinking if they ever filmed Starship Troopers it would be like this. Then, of course, it came up "Starship Troopers" and I was transported. Joy.
First time I saw it at the cinema I was in a 'Kid Aphex' sleep deprivation condition
and loved it and went to see it twice more. I bought it on DVD a while back.

Well, MK: Annihilation was pretty good, for two reasons:
1) "Mr. Ed's mine!"
2) Ray... f'n... Park.
Also, Cable Guy kicked ass. Especially the speech towards the end when he's saying all the TV references: "I'm the bastard son of Claire Huxtable! I'm the lost Cunningham! I learned the facts of life... by watching 'The Facts of Life.'" Brought a tear to my eye. :D
Zeiram I was pretty good. It had all the things that make bad movies the fun kind of bad: cheesy transformations, women in spandex/form-fitting rollcages, and a guy getting a chunk ripped out of his arm. :eek:
Finally, the two live-action Guyver movies. The first one had Mark Hamill, and the second had some inconsistencies (what happened to "Mizky"'s accent in the second?) and the Artist To Be Known As Solid Snake, David Hayter.

I would not list Zeriem or The Guyver on this topic. They are both awesome fucking movies and anyone who has seen them will agree.
If this topic were "What are movies that hardly anyone knows about but kick total utter ass?", then I would list both of those. But still, both movies, as far as I know, are very well liked by their target audience.

I'm a huge Van Damme fan, so I like a lot of movies that most people hate. I also like The Adventures Of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, but most people don't even know about it.

I loved escape from LA. the ending alone saves it.
although it's not as good as escape from NY, i do like it. i also saw LA before NY, maybe if it were the other way round like most people i'd have though different.
To anyone that said Last Action Hero (I only read the first few posts and it was mentioned a couple times).
During my junior high years I played on a baseball team with the kid star from that movie, Austin O'Brien. We were on the same team for a couple years. That dude was a freak wearing RED cleats (shoes) when we were the ChiSOX (black/white uniforms). Hehehehe, we always gave him shit for that. And all the 8-10 year old girls in the stands would always be cheering for him and shit and ask for his autograph EVERY DAMN WEEK.
