Anywayz, I work in a produce store called Kin's Farm... Sux, huh?

I am a Systems Engineer (A real SE, not the bogus MCSE garbage--no offense to anyone who has this though....) supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) with the Medium Grade Services (MGS) project. This project focues on PKI and S/MIME. Basically, it deals with digital signatures and cryptography of e-mail, so that enemy hackers or foreign terrorists with some brain cells can't intercept e-mail and read it. Pretty cool stuff.
I'm a Design Engineer (Electronics) working with digital instrumentation. I'm responsible for designing digital panel meters that measure anything from volts and amps to process control devices. On rare occurances, we will do a special design for a customer. I also look after production from time to time, helping them with questions of new and existing product. I dabble with test engineering also (taking data and throwing it all into Excel and such).
i teach english which = i live on the edge of the blade that is sanity and never coming back....
I am a professional web surfer.. atleast, that is all I seem to do at work loco

I work within the capacity of an "Intermediary Representative" for companies and small businesses who don't have the time to do the leg work they need done, sit down with the ppl they need to generally meet with personally and get things done. I've done this for almost 10 years off an on on a free lance basis, and while it's not the most glamorus job it's okay too. Being as that doesn't make me a guhgillion dollars I also do freelance Courier Work (hall shit in my pick up, small deliveres 24 hours a day within the Texas Grid of SATX, Austin, Houston) as needed... and finally, I do free lance photography (Digital Only). This of course is between the W-4/W-2 Appliccable jobs I land, but generally don't stick with them due to ppl who like to Micro Manage... can't work that way, I get trained to do something and I do it the way that makes sense to me and is equally profficent. My favorite jobs are when I convince a Corporation to let me be their "Security Specialist" for several weeks (usally get this job once or twice a year)... which has me (thinking like a criminal) figuring out and showing them (the company) where they have possible breaches in their physical security in a building etc. They always freak out when I find teh most outlandish ways to get into their precious buildings.
Other than that though it's not really a job, I write (am writing) Future Noir novels with a nihilistic protagonist that's a mixture of myself with Mickey Spillane and early William Gibson stuff, (book #1 about to be published soon) and periodically posting in here when I'm on the go. When I don't post for weeks on end it's generally when the big contracts come in. And that's it. No big deal really, just me living off my wits and fighting the collective majority's "Order" of things, making them "need" me (like my book character exaggerated) rather than join them. I bitch a lot, but I have good times indeed!

i first came here in 97, i was working at that time in sheraton hotel and had been for four years. my ex gf was japanese and she said she wanted me to go to japan with her so i quit my job (which i hated) and headed off to japan a place i had always wanted to go (loving ninjas and shit when i was young).
i lived here from 97-99 (exactly 2 years) and struggled to pick up japanese with my gf speaking english and my job being to teach english. with a lot of study at home and making friends who couldnt speak any english by about the end of the first year i had very basic japanese. i got a new gf one whose english was worse than my japanese and for the 2nd year kicked my japanese very hard.
went back home for a year and a half, went to uni and did one semester of very easy japanese to bring up my gp avg so i could get a scholarship and entry to a japanese uni. in 02 i was lucky enough to spend a whole year at kansai gaidai, the first sem i went into the highest lvl of japanese and the 2nd sem i went into academic japanese which means i studied in normal classes with other japanese students taking various classes on the environment and history.
this year i am working and continue to study in my free time. i would rate my japanese at 7 out of 10 with 10 being a native speaker (and that has taken me 6years, i predict 9 out of 10 will take me at least another 2 that is if i can find a job where i use japanese coz at the moment despite living in japan most of my life is good ole english :( )
end of boring lifestory rant...
I work at my college as editor for the school newspaper. It's a fun job.
I work in the Real State Business

I am the Director of Operations for a large Auto repair company that currently has 5 locations..I am also an ASE certified Master technician.
I work at Paramount's Kings Island in the Human Resources Department just to get me through school. For those of you that dont know its a large theme park in Cincy, one of the largest in the midwest actualy and home to many a great coaster (THE BEAST anyone?).
<a href="http://www.arcadegames.com" target="_blank">www.arcadegames.com</a>
I do cabinet work and component replacement (but generally not the actual component repairs). I make the games look as good as possible and repair them to the limit of my knowledge then hand them to another tech. I help customers that come into our showroom. I package the games we actually ship from our shop. I test the games wink . Sometimes I have to make deliveries or do house calls for repairs (when it is something I can repair). I go to various local distributors and operators for whatever reasons. I offer my input and opinions whether they are wanted or not :p . I drive my bosses kids around, lol, and basically anything else I'm told.

I work for a contractor who does mainly HVAC/Mechanical and Electrical work. Its actually a pretty sweet job because i work with 3 of my best friends and my boss is one of my friend's dad. We actually have a company of sorts. Anyway the pay is pretty good, Its helping me pay for college at least. Somedays i hate the work and somedays i love it. I'm always learning something new at least and getting to see some cool things as we work on the local Air force base a lot.

And they pay me to do so, not too bad..
I was part of a crack commando unit jailed for a crime we didn't commit.
We promptly escaped a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground.
Today, still wanted by the government, we survive as soldiers of fortune.
If you have a problem,
And no one else can help,
And if you can find us,
Maybe you can hire...........
I work for Verizon. I go around the country while on the phone with a co-worker and ask him if he can hear me now. There are only two things that I find odd about my job. One is that my "co-worker" is actually a corpse. Two is that I'm not really on the phone with him.
