No mention of brown shoe, but otherwise, this guy seems very much like a spiritual sibling in a lot of ways. No offense to Merc, whom I like. But if he had become a cop back in 2003 or so, I could very well imagine him being disillusioned or kicked off the force for refusing to back down from a moral stand by now. And then deciding to take it to them Bronson-style with a little asymmetrical warfare action.
