I honestly didn't think it was lucky. The Giants should have tried to manage the clock a little better and burn more time, but its easier said then done. I knew with 1 min left, that would be more then enough time for Rodgers to drive his team down the field and put them in good field goal range. I blame it totally on the Giants Defense for not stepping up and executing in the last minute of the game. That Jordy Nelson catch for X yards is what did it.Quote:

I've been a 49ers fan for 28 years now, I've spent the last 5 years waiting for Alex Smith to either step up or get traded. When Jim Harbaugh took the reigns after last season, I fully expected him to trade off Ales and start rebuilding. I was shocked and a little angry when he didn't. The Alex Smith we had under center this year isn't the same Alex Smith, and after tonight's game, this Alex Smith became a 49ers legend.
Even if we lose next weekend, I'll still be stoked. We've had an amazing season, and it's only up from here.
I'm a Niners fan as well. I was really happy to see Alex succeeding today. He and Vernon have been waiting for a chance to be in the playoffs for some time. It'll be exciting (and pretty tough) watching this Niners team go against Green Bay/New York next week.Quote:
