Yep, saw it over on Eventscrubs. They have "video" of them in action, but of course whenever news on an arcade game breaks somebody with a really shitty camera gets video of it. So the clips are really shitty looking and not even 40 seconds long.
Theres a code for doll fuckers?
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
THAT MOTHERFUCKER CAN AIR DASH?
Ummm.. Ryu has a hole through his chest. :spock:
I'm gonna unlock them later tonight, can't fucking wait to try out evil ryu

Impressions of both Oni and Evil Ryu from IPlayWinner.com
At least they both have low vitality.
I'm totally out of the SSFIV loop. Are these characters coming to the console versions?
Words can't express how sick and tired I am of both Ryu and Akuma (who I'm assuming is supposed to be the Oni character). From both a gameplay and storyline standpoint, I think the franchise has much better protagonists and antagonists.
God forbid new/returning characters (like Elena and R. Mika) make it instead of yet another iteration of these two scrub-friendly fan-favorites.
Fuck, i wanted to avoid this fucking game, but I can't resist using ryu. That new kick is great.
That hole in his chest, aka the missing heart looks dumb as fuck tho
I think giving any character air dash without giving everyone air dashing in a game that has this engine may be bad news.. Depends on his priority. Could be hella useful or garbage. They both take damage also.
High Res Videos from Iplaywinner
Place your bets now gentlemen if you think Daigo is going to switch from Yun to Evil Ryu now. Both of them look like they have very low health, but can dish out some damage. So I wonder if they'll just be a flash in the pan or everybody will just use the twins again.
I really wish they'd fill the other two slots with other characters. So much for Alex and Rollento. I guess we'll also never see Karin again. Wish they'd give Fei a normal counter move like she had.
Ryu's cross up forward, cStrong x3 had me cracking up.
Hoslappa, just give up all hope on any "different" characters. It's pretty much Shotos or GTFO.
If we see anymore grapplers(who aren't worthless), Karin, R.Mika, Urien or anybody else who isn't super cool or was wasn't in SFII I'll suck Daigo's cock on a live stream.
Daigo is gonna switch to whoever is super strong.
Air dashes belong in Guilty Gear, not in SF. Dislike.
Playing him is gonna change the dynamic of the game in his favor.
I hope Oni Gouki has IAD like GGXX. Baiting out reversals has never been so easy.
LOL whiners always whine. They are different enough than their normal counterparts. I would rather have these guys in than some useless character like r.mika who bounces all over the place, and not everyone will use her just like in alpha 3. I would still like karin in though.
OH BOI!!1! TOO NEW SHOTOSS!!11!!
Who fucking cares?
Hopefully they bring out "Naughty Ken" and "Disobedient Dan" in this version. Maybe then we can get Sagat's brother, "Fagat" into the game finally. He plays just like Sagat but instead of a tiger knee he has a tatsumaki. Then bring in "Robo Sakura 1, 2 and 3." They all look sort of different, but all have uppercuts, spin kicks and fire balls.
Then, hopefully Capcom wises the fuck up, and when SF5 comes out, they kick out anyone that's NOT a Shoto. It will be AWESOME.
This game needs moar shotos.
Haha, evil ryu has no heart, how fucking emo.
Unfortunately, those were the only two hidden characters on the game. Why they went with 39 baffles me, but hey Capcom can ship an update patch because the character data files are not all that big.
It should also be known that these two aren't playable out of the box :p
how do you know there are only two?
Oh
Air Raging Demon
fuck off
Violent Ken was actually kind of coolQuote:

so what happened with this?
Watch, urien and hugo are the next two to be revealed.
Sorry bro that's crouching Chun-Li http://shoryuken.com/content/mystery...h-busted-2308/

I think Ono is trolling.
I don't care about any of the 4 AE edition characters. I'm more interested to see if the gameplay modifications have improved on SSF IV to such a degree that I'll actually care about it again.
I enjoy playing SSF IV, but over time the floaty jumps and grab strength turned me off to actually CARING whether I do well at it.
I like the Oni idea.. I think they just wanted to be different. This character is the evolution of shin gouki, but I don't know what to think. Hes got more stuff shin never had. The air dash cancel to air demon is pretty ridiculous.
To be entirely honest, I don't know what the hell to think anymore. I'm ready for a entirely new fighter and I dont want to be from Ark.
Im just tired of the cashing in on nostalgia. I'm starting to hate nostalgia. It has just become a excuse for companies to stop innovating completely.
Its crazy watching the differences. Darkstalkers was a great idea when it first dropped, so capcom has no excuse, they can release something totally new...
Its ashame that SNK can't even afford to try new things, but with all of capcom's bank, they don't even try. I liked this about the neo-geo. There are so many good obscure fighters on it.. I might just give fighters a break and play the old stuff. All this wishful thinking is a waste of time to be totally honest. Its all time better used playing other games. All the best fighters I already own. I don't need another SF after alpha 2 and 3S. I'm not even done with 3S, now I'm playing IV. ONLY because its popular, not because my heart is in it like it was for 3S. I haven't even entered a tourney in ages. Last I entered was when we played third in 3S.. So the interest level stinks for me.
Like, sure we can wish for etc and etc. Or the spiritual successor to ST, or we can just play ST and have no expectations, so when something does drop its pleasantly surprising.
I sometimes wanna just go to japan and just play in the underground scene there and get my fill for games I have no comp for. I wanna play the FFS players there and others.
I literally just walked away from SFIV completely when I restored my cab, and I don't think I've had internal rage towards a fighting game since. I only get that hatred with IV, and I realize its not my fault, but rather Ono being a fucking pussy salesmen.
I've even become a happier and more productive gamer. I've been printing faq's. I'm considering doing more combo videos for SNK stuff. I had this idea showing like basic stuff with actual movements being shown via hand motions. IV is just a great reminder of whats wrong with gaming today. Deep or not, that game is literally not fun to play after a hour of casuals.
I think anyone that resorts to using the chimpmeister  emoticon (so called for his tendency to put at least 5 of them in per post) tries too hard by default. Once you plug that into a post, your credibility goes down the pipes.
Just to re-iterate what I mentioned earlier, I'm dumbfounded that Capcom didn't toss Haggar in as an AE unlockable. MVC3 as his 21st century debut sucks.
I'm holding out for AE but I swear this game is killing me inside. I too am only playing it because it's what's being played now.
I decided to give the game a chance because everyone is swearing that I'm just being an asshole and not giving the game a chance. Well i'm playing the shit out of this game and the more I play the more I realize that I was right in the first place.
Still holding out for now though. Once AE drops I'll see if I punch a hole through my TV or learn to stomach this dumb ass game.
Some LWK style stream of consciousness shiz coming your way.
Me and my nephew say the same thing about SSF IV whenever it comes up in conversation:
'Man, fuck that game.'
Even when we decide to have some matches, that's our general feeling. We expect a fun, but flawed, experience. That's what we get, and we're happy treating it like throwaway entertainment.
Probably the best value I ever got out of SF IV/SSF IV was the training mode. My wife decided to try the game out for the first time and she sort of taught hersel fhow to play (but not very well at all.) But when she was done trying to do the moves, she had a newfound appreciation for why fighters matter to me. It helped her to see things a little through my eyes, because fighting games were such a strong part of my young adulthood and the competitive element probably shows in my attitude towards a lot of things in who I am today.
Even with MvC 3 coming out, my bar is set very low. I'm looking for a crazy game where Dante can stab Deatpool in the face over and over. The fan service crossover appeal is pretty much the only thing that matters to me. I don't care if it's a good game or a shitty one. I've already comitted to buying it and my expectations are where they should be. I think I only have expectations, as fighters go, for KOF XIII and 3S online.
XIII: expectation is that SNK-P showed they learned from the many mistakes of XII.
3S online: expectation is that the netcode will actually work well enough for online play to be suitable.
As for nostalgia, to draw on what LWK said, I still place strong value on it, but only in products that are actually meant to replicate the original experience to a fair amount. Stuff like:
Bionic Commando: Rearmed
Megaman 9
Megaman 10
Pacman Championship DX
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair
And also throwback stuff that may be a new IP but harkens back to an era of simpler and more abstract game design:
Limbo
Shadow Complex
Zombie Apocalypse
If SNK were to say 'we're going to do Fatal Fury Special 2, with all the old sprites plus some new ones. We are going to make an old school fighting game using that same graphic style and control scheme,' I'd probably be in great fear/revulsion. But if I could overcome that fear/revulsion, I think I'd look forward to that kind of game despite my apprehensions or faith in the QA testers to produce a good experience.
But SSF IV? I don't judge that against ST or 3S. I judge it against SF IV. I judged SF IV against the series because at that point, it was a new entry in the series and there were expectations that it would revive the franchise. Which it did...but it wasn't made with my generation in mind. Once I distanced myself from that, I enjoyed the game for what it was and left it at that. It made SSF IV a lot easier to accept.
I judge it in its own class to a limit. First off, its called street fighter, secondly, it draws from those games historically.
Mostly I hate it for what it is itself.
Some nostalgia is fine, for games that deserve that nostalgia, but we shouldn't be three sequels into the sfiv series so quickly. I mean c'mon.
SFIV series is shit for some reasons, and great for others. Its shit for how crippled block strings are, its shit for auto correct and easy reaction, but I love its footsies.
It really is a weird beast. I do feel personally that its just way to easy to counter match people and beat someone fairly experienced with limited experience if you use the right character. If I could gauge one major issue, its the uphill of match ups when they are unfavorable. I mean we even see Daigo losing to american dhalsims, that guy is a hardcore experienced player, he shouldn't be losing with all his experience.. In Alpha 2 where sim was a beast, he destroyed our sim's for free.
I just hate how easy some characters are to use. Like, you gotta do some certain thing to counter some shit, and if you gotta work harder execution wise then the other guy who's sitting on godlike neutral poke zoning, you're gonna lose a lot of the time. Its like this, small nuance vs yours. Its like Ryu vs Sim in SUPER IV. I mean ick. You can tag sFP with cMP with ryu for a while, but eventually they just wont do it, you jump, they sRH or sMK, you jump at them bRH, or bMP. You gotta just build meter and do some crazy shit, which is always unfavorable, because that character is a wall. I used Sim for some time and lost interest due to how easy he sits on shit. Stupid shit like this is annoying. Basic pokes for anti's, and ryu has a slow cFP or srk. '
Heres a good tidbit for you guys who don't understand SFIV and are bitching on a bandwagon or train posting. Just check some of these factors out, because this stuff is all real and I do have the experience to give this opinion from my own history playing it:
My main character balrog mops the floor with ryu, and I was happy to be vindicated on that stupid tier list to where they finally just called it a 6-4. You cannot escape that corner if the balrog is good. Now he doesnt even have a distance cross up tatsu, which was GREAT vs balrog, so you can build enough meter to cross his ass up with it and super him raw. Now there's like no damage factors. Rog's don't even need to jump onto ryu, and the jump in FP hits from such a supremely far distance that hado's are no good from such far range a lot of the time. You gotta play it like, constant cMK, prebuffering srk on each cMK tap, in case rog does a dash punch, and you're lucky enough to even tag the thing, you'll automatically get the srk which you can fadc ultra.. Now that ryu has lost hit abitlity on that move, who knows.. That's how fucking stupid its gonna be. Its not like alpha 2 to where rush down had some respect factors. If its a counter match and the person knows the match, it can be super tough.
It all comes down to a counter match being a counter match because my stupid basics are easier to have on the screen before your reaction execution heavy shit.
I'm gonna start taking cockey peoples money in the rog vs ryu match up. I'm very confident in my play in this.
I figure that since he can't even do a distance escape tatsu when I corner his ass, its option selects o plenty.
Ryu does that, I dash back and do cFP, he stands still, cWP, tick throw. He phishes for cMK's, I can tag those with my own reversal cMK. he jumps straight up, headbutt ultra, he throws a hado, headbutt ultra. I can just toss a few distance cRH's in to be a dick, or footsie style walk up retreat cWP's. How about a distance sRH or sFP for poking?
BTW, rog is ridiculous for a reasons. cFUCKIGNWP. cWP is amazing. I can just toss two of those out there, if the second shows as hitting I can just react to that hitconfirm and murder with whatever I choose. Theres like no reason. Sometimes I'll play idiots who figure they know what to do. I'll do jRH or jFP cWP, they srk or have that habit, next time I'll do one cWP instead of two and score a free whatever. The mindgames in this revolve around exposing peoples gimmick stupidity, and due to this factor, a lot of the fun of playing it drags. I have a playbook for different archetypes of players who have these habits in my brain.
This shit is why SFIV is stupid. There is so much damn option select in this game, I agree with my friends view of it.
