Any thing EA :p
1+
FF7 may be overated but it's a great rpg, better than many on PSOne. Still, breath of Fire 3 is waay better than 7.
Overated games? i must say games like Okami and Dragon Quest 8, imo
Final Fantasy X-2. It got great reviews, a lot of RPG fans seemed to like it. I bought it right away because I really liked FFX. I don't think I played it for more than an hour or so.
Horrible, horrible game.
ALL OF THEM.
Except Resident Evil 4.Quote:

yawn
also:
Metroid BORING
Zelda but Ocarina's the best game of all time
ZOE2 maybe I should give it another chance
GTA3 was good, but ever since then it's been like straight 10s for the other games, wtf
MGS3 SUCKED, take this stupid camo and timewasting medical shit out
more to come
 FUCK YOU HIPPIE!!! :angry:Quote:

Panzer Dragoon Saga - Not enough depth to the game. Yes, I owned it for a time.
Grandia - Awful cookie-cutter plot, poor design, very mediocre game
FFVII - It was a good game, but not legendary as people make it out to be. I mean, the game itself was nothing special, it just had a slightly more interesting presentation.
Burning Rangers - The Saturn had choppy 3D. So it looked awful and it didn't play that great to begin with. Just not that good. Maybe for the time it was good for the novelty of its graphics, but like I said, the Saturn's 3D sucked.
Gears Of War - Good game, but not game of the year good. I had more fun with Lost Planet.
All Madden Games
All Grand Theft Auto Games
Halo 2
Seriously, it didn't do anything new, and most of the maps sucked unless you had more than 6 people playing at once. WTF
edit:
FFVII as well. I don't get the hype, and having to do stupid secrets (the piano, vincent, luffie) to get the most out of the game really killed the experience i had with it.
Most if not all of the 3D Zeldas. And the one 3D Zelda I enjoyed, Wind Waker, most everyone didn't like or thought was merely OK.
FF X/X2
Halo 2 - It almost killed my respect for the series.
Final Fantasy X
Kingdom Hearts
god of war
button bash feast that made me feel epileptic :loco: not into it
Kingdom Hearts
Tekken
Soul Calibur
Dead or Alive
Virtua Fighter (though I kinda like it)
Eh, hell, any 3D fighter really.
well saidQuote:

Any FPS developed by ID Software (except maybe Wolf3D)

Kingdom Hearts hands down!
Shit, I think we have a winner. I got bored less than an hour into this game.Quote:

gran turismo series, looks nice, plays nice, racing for money to buy the next car is like grinding in an rpg, problem is that is pretty much the meat of the game.
gears of war, cover system sucks compared to rb6:v, why do i get stuck to walls. where is the good multiplayer package? options? ease of use? etc?

Ultimate GnG PSP - stunning to look at, shite to play
Outrun 2 - any format , snore
Any Need for Speed game in the last ten years except HP2
Theres thousands more I can't be assed to list, that we simply put up with, swear at, finish, then say it was an amazing game after.
:)
Zelda
it's the same game, over and over and over and over again
in fact, I think the Wii is what Nintendo needed to revitalize their games
but the Zelda Wii additions were weak, while the new Mario game built from ground up for the Wii, looks like they might be on the right track
maybe the next installment will bring something new to the table
GTA
Yes, I love the series, but I felt it lost it's appeal after Vice City. San Andreas, Liberty Stories, Vice Stories, were all pretty weak. I'm hoping they bring something new to the table for part 4, otherwise it's destined to be "cookie cutter" sequel like everything else we see these days.
God of War
I seriously don't understand why this game garners so much attention. I couldn't bring myself to finish the first, but I figured I'd give the sequel a try before calling it one of the most overrated games ever.
Gears of War
Another game that I play frequently. I think it's more like an 8.5 game than a 9.5 game. It's only saving grace is online play. The single player mode is pretty empty and short.
Halo 1 and 2
Another game who's biggest draw is online play and even then I consider it Ho-Hum.
Gran Turismo
Basically, the sequels all feel like the first GT but with prettier graphics. That's it. I guess I have to be more of a car enthusiast to appreciate it.
Oblivion
First Person Sword Fighting . . . nuff said.
Okami
Zelda, but as a wolf. This has to be one of the most derivative games I've ever played. I don't mind games that are a bit derivative, but this one takes the cake for being bland and boring.
Final Fantasy
Feminine anime characters fighting evil or some bullshit. Maybe it's because I don't play RPGs often, but meh.
Zelda series
Radiant Silvergun
Resident Evil series
Anything sports, particularly sports revolving around football or basketball.
The Tomb Raider games and Lara Craft, either digital or Angelina Jolie.
God of War
Zelda, Metal Gear Solid (I like them, but sometimes I swear I am playing Pac-man), Final Fantasy (except 12, I love this one)
NiGHTS may be over-rated but... Rez? You have to be kidding.
Resident Evil 4 over-rated? Come on.

I loved the first one but anything afterwards just sucked, no competition at all. The only thing thats challenging in the whole game are the license tests.
Oblivion
What's up with all the fucking walking in that game?[/Randall Graves]
Metal Gear Solid *
I loved the original Metal Gear on NES but hated anything afterwards.
Devil May Cry
It's OK.
Mark of the Wolves - coming on the heels of the Real Bout series of games, this one was just a total letdown for me. Visuals were good, but that's about the only thing I enjoyed about it. Absolutely hated the gameplay.
Dynasty Warriors - I've tried a couple of different versions, but I got extremely bored with all of them after an hour or two. Funnily enough, Mystic Heroes, which is basically a less involved, more fantasy oriented version of the engine, I love. Maybe the simpler gameplay and more fantastical enemies make it more enjoyable to me, I dunno...
To be honest, I haven't really enjoyed most games in years, which is why I very rarely play anymore. Every once in a while I'll get in the mood to play, and usually end up grabbing something from the discount bin which I can finish in a week or so. That'll usually satisfy me for the next 8 months or so until I get the urge again.
That pretty much sums up all the GnG games...unless you are a sadomasochistic bastard.Quote:

I need that guy back in my life, but at the moment I only own road rash and no system :emb:
I agree with you on gng too , hah.. tis a shame
I'm not very good at games anymore though to be honest :oh_no:
Yes! I am not the only one who loves the original 3DO (which still look decent for a low res racing game). HP2 wasn't too bad but the rest.... yeech.Quote:

-MGS3 (though I still liked it, I'm one of the few who insists MGS2 was better)
-Kingdom Hearts (pick one, any one)
-FFX (decent, but nowhere near as good as many insist it is)
-GTA (any of them)

-Halo (never even played any of them, just know that no FPS, or any game for that matter, is actually as good as people think these are)

I definitely second Guitar Hero.
Gears of War wins the hype of the century award. I've never played it, and with any luck, it will stay that way. It simply can't be all that everybody has made it out to be. That game looks RETARDED.
Zelda: TP
i LOVED the story and the world of ff7
the gameplay was great also, but i mainly got sucked into the world and story
overated... deus ex.
couldnt get into it at all
Ikaruga, I just don't like the puzzle concept. Gears of War, didn't like the single
player nor the multiplayer on-line.
