And they wonder why kids are pansy's these days. I don't know how it is in your families, but time outs and taking toys away just don't have the same effect. Spanking gets results.

Serious, this is bullshit, im against spanking in the sense of hurting your son so he can remember the shit he made by looking at the scars you left on his skin, but i little slapping here and there wont kill anybody, we need to set the limits here.
There is a difference between spanking and beating. Some parents do take it too far, but parents like myself can go to jail for a swat in the butt. Thats just lame. There is no sophisticated word to use for this law. It's just lame.
If you spend ample time with your kids then you wont even have to worry about anything. As them acting out is really an act to grab attention at a manifested stage. But since people dont have any time and forget the fundamentals of what makes a good child. This is happening more and more now a days.
Again people are fixated on the problem. Not the source. Teach the fundamentals of good parenting and you wont have to worry about this later on. All the law makers are bored now and resort to shit like this to fill there time. Society is fucked.

I have a little cousin at around 2-3 years old that needs to be constantly spanked because she cannot control herself. This is pretty much the only way she'll stop doing whatever she is doing. My question is, does the child actually have to report the parent? In this case, it could be a way to filter out the parents who do abuse their children. Just my 2 cents. :annoyed:

There has to be a fear of penalty when the idea of misbehaving exists. For us adults, it's fines, jail, corporal punishment (spanking?) or in some cases, execution.
