Serious question:
What is exactly wrong with your back? Ruptured disc? Subluxation?
If you haven't actually ruptured a disc, and it's just herniated (sp?) try looking up Spinal Decompression. A lot of chiro doctors now do it, and it's an alternative to surgery. It's *basically* traction, but the way it's done doesn't give you traction results. Your body doesn't react to it like traction.
