How about we just add something worse in its place? Agreed? Okay.
You can go back to tweaking your nipples.
Let Home Movies DIE. I love that show but his attention is MUCH better focused on Metalocalypse. That show is better in my opinion.Quote:

Thank god.
Terrible show.
First of all, I want to thank the Boondocks for getting me addicted to the rest of this crap.
Moving on...
I liked Metalocalypse and Robot Chicken immediately, especially the prior.Quote:

The rest of their original programming is just not my taste. 12oz mouse was just a disaster.
ok, yes...please let Home Movies die, it was awesome but its done.
Metalocalypse rules, Frisky Dingo is hilarious and i kinda like Assy McGee, i just like the way he talks. and Aqua Teen has gotten really good this season.
shut the fuck up. Frisky Dingo is one of the best shows on AS. Moral Orel beats the shit out of that terribly drawn worthless Home Movie crap. Why don't you just draw your own home movies. I'm sure you can do a better job than the William Street crew did.Quote:

Yeah, but the Jersey crew is often functionally retarded. :pQuote:

yeah penisface, so if I don't like a show now, I change the channel. Novel idea right.Quote:

stuff like birdman, sealab, brak, and space ghost is classic. shit like squidbillies and 12oz mouse cant even compare.
bobak, super lawyer, posting on a videogame forum. fun at parties.
Thank god worst show AS ever aired IMO.
I enjoy Metalocolypse, Boondoks, Tom and Venture Bros.
Still on the fence about Assy McGee and Frisky Dingo.
Robot Chicken and Squidbillies just plain suck.
ATHF, Sealab, Brak and Space ghost are/were good.
I just think alot of the shows don't really have a long life from the begining and the AS crew knows this, so they're desperate to find anything at all to replace or try instead.
I am literally the only person in the world who enjoyed this show.
Giant Eye-ball: "Eye live on an eyeland, in Eyeowa...or...Weyeoming."
Fritz: "That's not possible."
The Brak show was awful.Quote:

Metalocalypse really has the whole 15min thing down pat.
Venture Bros is still the best thing AS has ever aired.
Home Movies is amazing, but i've seen all the eps - time for something new.
Tom Goes to the Mayor and Morel Orel are okay, and both have their fans.
But stuff like Squidbillies and 12oz mouse just ruin AS for me. It's just shit.
Boondocks is funny though.
AgreedQuote:

A lot of Adult Swim shows just aren't thought out very well.
Moral Orel might be amusing, but making an entire cartoon just to bash religion is shallow in my eyes.
I've never seen Assy McGee, but I'm assuming it's a similar situation, i.e. not much to the show after you get past the I'm-a-talking-ass part.
Venture Bros. is by far the best thing AS has ever put out.
In a perfect world, the shows that should be cancelled are the crappy ones, regardless of ratings.Quote:

I'm getting tired defending TGTTM, whatever. Over it.
But the following post
needs to give me a fucking break.Quote:

But whatever, I'm actually glad to see that 12 Oz. Mouse is gone forever.
there are a lot of people that believe Inuyasha is the best show on AS...Quote:

Being English I don't have a fucking clue what this topic is about :annoyed:
I like 12 Oz Mouse and Tom Goes to the Mayor.
I also just got the first season of The Venture Brothers for Christmas.
It fucking sucked but I still laughed at it.
"I haven't had meat like this since...the meat wars....meat vs. bone..."
Then a beige rectangle with a face comes up and everybody in the alley (including the meat on a spit) starts spraying it with gun fire.Absolutely retarded. But I laughed.
I guess part of me wanted to believe that the shows creators were killing themselves with drugs to come up with that shit...and in some ways that made it even funnier.
No big loss though.
Frisky Dingo on the other hand is another story. It's the platform upon which AS has perfected the non-joke. Awesome show.
Metalocalypse started off with some kind of unassuming brilliance...it was like a Spinal Tap rockumentary of sorts....but in the later episodes the show didn't lead you anywhere, they just fed you the cheap laughs in a predictable fashion not unlike the Family Guy/Simpsons.
We all liked to laugh at Boog for his shitty grammar and fucked up punctuation....until he started doing what everyone expected from him: he tried to shoehorn that little "bit" into every one his posts. We eventually stopped caring and now he's faded into general obscurity.
Metalocalypse did the same thing when they appeased their fans and brought back Dr. Roxo for an entire episode. And the use of "zazz" was pretty awesome in Skwisklok...but I it might become a running gag....becoming less funny everytime they use it.
In my opinion, "Murdering outside the Box" was probably the last good episode they had.
all I want for christmas is more of the brak show,
more ATHF,
more sealab,
more bjork on space ghost,
more venture brothers,
more squidbillies,
more robot chicken,
and less TGTTM,
less assy mcgee,
less moral orel.
thank you santa.
I kind of liked 12 oz mouse. kinda...
:crying:Quote:

I haven't watched Adult Swim in awhile. After they hyped up Squidbillies forever and it turned out to be such a steaming turd I lost interest.
Blehh... It's ok.. Mostly funny to stoned slackers.
Most of that shit is good for 15 minutes but isn't on the Lev with the family guy.
you guys are really passionate about this stuff
it all blows
South Park, ftw
Frisky dingo is great when you've been watching each episode.
The Venture Bros is the best show on the AS line up. I even watch the re-run episodes religiously. One of the best shows ever made.
ATHF has moments
Tom Goes to The Mayor sucks ... it needs to die
12oz Mouse blows, I'm glad it got canned
Metalocolypse is good, but I never seem to catch it when it's on.
I don't think I've really seen any of the other ones, or atleast not enough to comment
I have never even heard of the 12oz. mouse, but I agree that Madden sucks.
I watched one episode of 12 oz. mouse...I think I was tired, but I laughed. Still not as good as ATHF, or Space Ghost, or Frisky Dingo for that matter.
Pilot episode of 12 Oz was great. Then I found out they were trying to make some grand interconnecting storyline, so I was like eff it.
The corndogfields episode was pretty neat, if only for 1. the idea of corndog fields and 2. Roostre's banjo playing.
As for Venture Bros., Season 1>>Season 2. Not saying Season 2 is bad, but the pop culture references were starting to get on Family Guy-levels...I mean, David Bowie, Klaus and Iggy? Come on. Cliffhanger also wasn't as good as season 1, but then again, not many cliffhangers can beat that.
hermegildo nailed it with Moral Orel. If I had to guess, I'd say the majority of that fanbase are angsty teens who think it's chic to not like God. Not to mention that it's just not funny. "Hahaha, the Bible said something but Orel misinterprets it and acts like a fucking idiot" is the synopsis for every episode.
TGTTM has its moments, but the newscasters have got to go. The celebrity cameos are usually hit and miss, they had so much potential with Goldblum but he was the lamest guy ever.
If you're just coming in now to watch Frisky Dingo, forget it. Definitely not like Sealab when you can come in anytime and expect to enjoy it, you have to have watched it since the beginning.
I was really, really surprised about Metalocalypse. I hate Death Metal and all that, and the first commercials that showed Murderface pissing in the grocery store had me groaning. But wow, it was amazing and hilarious, the only episode I didn't like was the pilot and maybe that could have been because I came in hating it already. Murderface turned out to be an even funnier character than I thought, hell, everyone in the band never seemed like second-fiddle throughout the show, which was great.
Harvey Birdman late '05-early '06 season>any other HB
This latest season of Harvey Birdman kinda disappointed me. I guess they killed off Phil because of how big a man Colbert is.
You should at least try to watch the Venture Bros.Quote:

and about Boondocks... i thought that the animated series was absolute crap. The voice actors seem really really out of place, and the jokes just weren't funny, for some reason.
oh well..
it's mah birthday, batches
Wow...
You people put a lot of thought into this stuff.
I might as well too:
12oz. Mouse was kind of crap.
ATHF has its moments.
Sealab was great, but it's gone, so deal with it.
Home Movies was... (see: Sealab)
Space Ghost Coast to Coast is classic.
The Brak Show was almost as enjoyable as Space Ghost but I would've enjoyed it more if it had been done in a talk show format like Space Ghost (never would've happened.)
I enjoy Harvey Birdman.
I enjoy Robot Chicken too.
Venture Bros. is the best thing on AS ever (also: Season 1 > Season 2)
Frisky Dingo is great (so far...)
Metalocalypse is also great (so far...)
Squidbillies... I kind of even forgot this show existed.
Moral Orel... I know it exists but I choose to not realize that it does.
I like the Boondocks, even though it doesn't really make me laugh (explain that one... because I sure can't.)
Tom Goes to the Mayor makes me laugh, but I guess I'm in the minority with that one.
Assy McGee looked like it would get tiresome after a couple episodes, but I've found myself enjoying it a great deal more than I thought I would so far.
Is that all?
Did I forget anything?
Oh yeah... what the fuck happened to Stroker and Hoop?
Just as that show started to get great they stopped showing it...
What the hell?
EDIT: I forgot Korgoth--that show is going to kick total ass.
lol korgoth will never be a series... it's just a dicktease for those who saw the pilot...
Eh, I laughed at some points with 12 Oz. Mouse, but it was still by all means the worst show AS ever came up with (followed by Tom Goes to the Mayor). Metalocalypse, Frisky Dingo, and Venture Bros. are all great, though. Moral Orel is okay, but not one of their better shows.
Wow. Its like I haxored your account & posted.Quote:

That Zombi(e) episode was great stuff.
So was the one where Hoop thought he had become a porcupine superhero.
And the one where... you know what?
Aside from the pilot they were all actually pretty damn good.
You could have said the same of the Venture Bros. years ago when they aired the first pilot.Quote:
