I only mention it because it is notable, in comparison to every other review being some 9.5 or above.Quote:

paying attention to ratings is faggotnessocititty.
I rate this thread a 2 out of 10 (only because I posted in it).
Yep, that seals it: I'm now going to order my Gamecube copy.
The Wii version just tags on the new controls, and if they aren't up to much, the Gamecube version has to come out on top.
that color text against the blue is hard for me to see.
There is no gamecube version.
Being in Japan you can only order the gamecube version online from nintendo right? I think Zelda is the best game a launch has seen in a long time. Probably since Soul Calibur on in the Dreamcast.Quote:

Wow; anybody who actually took the time to read that review would be surprised by how much they didn't like the "Wiiness" of Zelda.
Basically, they said they liked the game fine, but the Wii controls were kinda janky, and the Wii speaker playing sounds was a piece of crap.
Interesting, for a game that is supposedly a big system seller or selling point for the Wii.
its funny. i always hated jeff.
but without any real reason ... just grabbed me the wrong way.
now i realize my brain was just circumventing the illusion of time and feeling the huge 8.8 reality-disturbance of this evening.
This must be Nesagwa's countdown to disappointment or self delusion :)Quote:

I always disliked Jeff's fat face and his puffy, tightly-packed, hamster-like cheeks (undoubtedly stuffed with a combination of Ho Hos, Twinkees, and Fruit Pies.)
Granted, I didn't read the guys review or have any plans to in the near future seeing as I generally don't really even bother to read them [reviews] all that much, so whether I find his critiques valid or not will probably forever remain to be seen, but I will always hate his face for no real reason.
I think I just hate fat faces in general...
*shrug*
When watching the we got a wii marathon on gamespot everything else was enjoying the wii and having a go but you could really tell jeff just was trying his hardest not to like anything, he was so negative relating to it.Quote:

Hmmmm .... did any of the Sony fanboys stop to realize the fact that Zelda TP outscored all PS 3 titles currently reviewed on Gamespot?
Or that gamerankings.com (a much better metric of a game's overall quality) currently has Zelda TP ranked at over 96%?
I think this is mostly a result of Gerstman needing some excitement in his life.
But Excitetruck has already been deemed.... Not that exctiting :)Quote:

Really? That's very interesting. Because I agree people have a right hate. But it's funny how you're perplexed about people hating on haters.Quote:

Shit, people take too seriously gamespot, jeff, ZeldaQuote:

Read this thread over again, because nobody here really criticized him or his review.Quote:

Reviews are for the birds. And anyway, they gave Gears of War a 9.6. That's reason enough for me not to believe a word of what Gamespot has to say.
It's supposed to come to stores here it's just delayed to December sometime and possibly limited in number.Quote:

Not the fact that Zelda got this 8.8, rather that Wii games --because of the fairly radical shift in controls for a mainstream system (non-accessory)-- are going to polarize some reviewers (funny how 8.8 is considered something huge) because they're not necessarily as interested in the new control scheme. It's going to be an easy excuse.
We'll see.
I'm glad I'm not wading into any of this (buying a new system).
All I have to say is, this isn't going to even remotely knock down what I'm looking forward to:
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass F.T.W., Bitches.
I will be picking it up.

I agree with Bobak. At least in the first months, the Wiimote will polarize the reviewers... letīs see if they can perform as well as the Stylus
do you really care? be honest.Quote:

Regardless of your personal preferences, Gears of War is definitely deserving of every 10 rating it receives.Quote:

i won t bother reading the review, but what the ? 8.8 is a good mark. anyway, i loved aiken s artifact and they gave it shitty reviews, taste is taste, to each its own.
I will get the gc version, i m having wrists problems lately, i don t think i ll be able to play the wii until next year.
