This is the thread for all deals going on Black Friday. I haven't searched because I'm a lazy bastard and prefer that you all do the work for me. Post it up here!
I do know that Amazon is having a deal for a CORE Xbox 360 for $100 on Thanksgiving day. You basically vote for the deal you want that day but it already has nearly 90% of the vote. There will only be 1000 units but its a good deal for those of you that might want to get one or ass rape someone on the re-sell.

I think this little trick should work. Nobody's mentioned this yet, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. If you're lucky enough to be able to get one of these off amazon for 100 bucks, once you get it, take it to walmart or target or something and say you got it as a gift and want to upgrade to the premium version, so bam you throw em another 100 bucks and you fucking save yourself 200 and get a premium. So no need to spend 100 on the hdd, and the other premium shit. :) If I can't do this myself, I hope I've inspired someone else here to take advantage of this scheme, I don't see why you couldn't pull it off.

Last year I was up at 4a.m. so I decided I'd go ahead and go to Wal-Mart since it opened at 5 or 6. Got there, waited in line which was nice and organized. Until a Wal-Mart employee walked up to the door with about 3 minutes to open. The line then became a mad dash to the door, which was still locked. I got up to the very front of the door and had old ladies yelling at me that it wasn't fair. Anyway they unlocked the door, I got in and just sat on a stack of TVs and watched the mayhem unfold (I was picking up one of the TVs for my mom). It was crazy, I'm thinking of staying up again just to watch the show.Quote:

Screw being at a store or mall at 5AM.....that's insane. In the next five years "Black Friday" will be less and less important as shoppers transition more to internet shopping. I don't buy much in stores anymore except for stuff like clothing, because it's more convenient to shop online and not deal with the crowds and other hassles.

That amazon deal didnt work out so well for me.
I was online I hit refresh at maybe 15 seconds early nothing came up.
I opened a new window it said come back when the sale is happening WTF ??? , it already was by a minute or 2, instantley opened another window it said sold out and then the blank explorer came up with a sold out (about 10 minutes later) as well?
I was hoping to play some phantasy star universe oh well maybe after my house is done.
