I'm moving in less than a month so I'm not gonna bother with cleaning it.
EDIT: bigger pic (wtf, photobucket?)
EDIT2: That logo on it is from the company that was giving away this monitor, not the monitor's brand (it's a Hitachi, model CM801)
What can I say, I had a party over the weekend lol.

The area is condensed for space, thus
the image is from an angle.

My Current Desktop Image (on my account)
last week was some bitch named Gia Paloma,
who knows what next week will be?
Ah, the old Gravis pad. I still have mine somewhere around here too. It's uncomfortable as fuck though. Not to mention unresponsive.Quote:

btw, yeah out basement suite is FUCKING TINY, so everything is in our kitchen.
and you gotta love my vodka+pepsi chilling out by the monitor while i took this pic.
p.s. my batteries ran out, so i couldn't take a better pic.
Send me your desktop background or point me in the direction of where i can get it.Quote:

I think I have the biggest CRT out of anyone in this thread :D

Finally got a new monitor a couple of months ago because my old one was a piece of shit.
I don't know where to go with all those damn CDs.
Another Dr. Pepper fan here.
LoL At all those chairs around one computer. Reminds me of nerds in a hotel room crowded around a computer after a con laughing at lame Internet jokes.Quote:

Back in the day I used it for the MSX emulator stuff, though it didn't help matters any that for whatever reason Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake wouldn't recognize the controller and I was forced to play that game for 12 hours straight using only the damned keyboard to beat it. I don't even know if Gravis makes that style of gamepad anymore, but since I was used to the PS2 controller (and unlike a lot of ppl, I've never had a prob with the Dual Shock), the Gravis pad fits like a glove.
Now let's see if anyone can name all of the Mega Drive games in my bookshelf in the background. :smirk:
I could not pull off a shoryuken on that controller to save my life.Quote:

Didn't even know there was a Mazinger Z "shooter" game until last night, fucking awesome game.
Hmm... maybe I just have a defective one.Quote:

sorry bout the bandwidth :emb:

I live in filth.
I surf whenever I have downtime at work (feast and famine schedule), and when I'm not at work I use my laptop at hotspots so I would be taking a photo of some random coffee shop.
Thus my work is the closest thing I have to a desktop:

Detail of the poster, for the interested parties.
I can't tell if I was holding the camera at an angle or if the poster's crooked on the wall. :crying:
Here's mine....

Y'know, If I hadnt spent all that money on stupid plastic anime figures, I could probably afford a decent monitor by now......
You can find a huge scan of the wood block print here. I just resized it and chopped off a bit on the left to make it a 1280x1024 wallpaper. It's way too big for PhotoBucket, though. Send me a PM and I'll e-mail it to you.Quote:

You might, but is yours bigger then my Apple 21" Studio Display CRT? :DQuote:

Woodblock prints>all
Good God some of you are messy.
What ancient digital cameras are some of you using?
I've got an aged Canon 2MP Digital Elph. It gets the job done for web shots (Aren't web shots low res anyway?)Quote:

I don't trust anyone who doesn't have a messy desk. A messy desk is a true sign of genius.
@ Kernow - Dual monitors! Kicks ass for when you're busy with a ton of programs or AIMS. My mac graphic designer buddies rock the double monitors. Doesn't setting it up have to do with having a extra video card or something?
@Jedah - Shelf System LoL I've gone through two of those things in the last 10 years. The CD player always crapped out after a couple of years. Thank God for the Radio and the Phono jack for iPod broadcasts.
I've got one sitting in my closet at home. Looks like that was the standard for ROMS back in the day.Quote:

I don't even mess with computer speakers anymore. WHen listening to iTunes or Internet radio, I use headphones.Quote:

There are nice when you have company over. Just put on your custom playlist and turn it up. The speakers have a really nice range with some thumpy bass. I have a headphone jack if I need to have things quiet, but I rarley use them.Quote:

@gregN: the 2nd monitor was my folks until they upgraded to a flatscreen lcd, they bought the iiyama vision master pro 410 based on my recommendation as I already bought one, and they gave me the 2nd, woot.
it has another card in to power that monitor of course, but if you had an nvidia twinview you wouldnt even need another card. both monitors have dual BNC/DB15 inputs too, so I can plug some more shite in.

Since I'm at work all day (and have no internet in the camp I'm staying in), I guess this'll have to be considered my desktop. It's either that or the station in the net cafe down the street, lol.
EDIT: Here's a couple of pics I just took with my camera phone, and yes, the native size of pics my phone takes is 1280 x 1024:

edit: with dual BNC / DB15 inputs each.
