I've never had ONE problem with the Gravis Gamepad Pro since I bought it in 2000 or 2001, but then I mainly use it to power up and play games on MAME or Neo Rage, but usually MAME. Back in the day I used it for the MSX emulator stuff, though it didn't help matters any that for whatever reason Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake wouldn't recognize the controller and I was forced to play that game for 12 hours straight using only the damned keyboard to beat it. I don't even know if Gravis makes that style of gamepad anymore, but since I was used to the PS2 controller (and unlike a lot of ppl, I've never had a prob with the Dual Shock), the Gravis pad fits like a glove.

Now let's see if anyone can name all of the Mega Drive games in my bookshelf in the background. :smirk:

And I just beat "Street Fighter" (AKA: Fighting Street) pulling off one shroyuken and Hadoken after another on that game too. Though I don't spend much time with the fighters, it's all about RGS games and roving brawlers and Shooters. Didn't even know there was a Mazinger Z "shooter" game until last night, fucking awesome game.

You can find a huge scan of the wood block print here. I just resized it and chopped off a bit on the left to make it a 1280x1024 wallpaper. It's way too big for PhotoBucket, though. Send me a PM and I'll e-mail it to you.

Yeah I know it's Hokusai's Great Wave.

I can't ever seem to find a good image of it online. The one he had on his desktop was particularly awesome and the colors seemed a bit more vibrant than all the stuff i can find.

@Jedah - Shelf System LoL I've gone through two of those things in the last 10 years. The CD player always crapped out after a couple of years. Thank God for the Radio and the Phono jack for iPod broadcasts.

It's an older Aiwa shelf system. I've had it for about 10 years. The CD player crapped out, but I fixed it up. In the end I used it as my stereo out for my Mac. It's got a great sound and the speakers work well with my iTunes.

@Boback - I took the pictures with my cell phone. It's the easiest and quickest way to get pictures online.

There are nice when you have company over. Just put on your custom playlist and turn it up. The speakers have a really nice range with some thumpy bass. I have a headphone jack if I need to have things quiet, but I rarley use them.

BTW: MAME on these speakers gives it a more authentic feel. You just turn it up and it brings you back. :buttrock:

@gregN: the 2nd monitor was my folks until they upgraded to a flatscreen lcd, they bought the iiyama vision master pro 410 based on my recommendation as I already bought one, and they gave me the 2nd, woot.

it has another card in to power that monitor of course, but if you had an nvidia twinview you wouldnt even need another card. both monitors have dual BNC/DB15 inputs too, so I can plug some more shite in.
