R.I.P Eddie Guerrero
Printable View
:crying:
Sad to see Eddie go, especially at this young age. He was a great wrestler, character, and performer.
R.I.P. old buddy, and thanks for all the memories.
Ahh, i remember the metal pipe in the flowers and such.
Greta performer, he will be missed.
R.I.P :(
Wow, I guess the drugs finally did it.
Unless foul play was involved, how else can you pass away at only 38 years of age?
cheating death and stealing life?
guess they can't release that book.
it's odd, when you hear about most wrestlers dieing it's because of drugs and
whatever, and usually after their career has ended.
Check out The Official WWE Wrestling Thread for the latest news on Eddie's death. Link should take you to the last page of the thread, where most of the reports and links are ;)
Wow,just wow,i can remember watching this guy back during WCW,i remember his cheat 2 win shirt and his my favorite wresler is Eddie Guerrero shirt, how sad to see him go so soon,he was only 38.
Wow this really sucks. This takes me back to that terrible PPV with Owen Hart... :oh_no:
This news really makes me sad.
man this sucks big time now there is no reson to watch smack down he was the best wrestler on smackdown and in the world of Wrestling

I'm still in shock. Eddie was easily the best wrestler on the Smackdown roster. I followed his career ever since I saw his match against Rey Mysterio at Halloween Havoc 97. It's a real shame he had to go now. He was getting a main-event push and was set to win the World Heavyweight title tonight. With Eddie gone now I don't have a reason to watch Smackdown. R.I.P. Eddie, thanks for all the great memories.
You know, it would be so great when the WWE holds a tribute for Eddie tomorrow, then out of no where, Eddie shows up and makes fun of everyone saying they're bunch of idiots for crying and being sad for him. That would be the ultimate heel move ever. But that will most likely not happen. *sigh* R.I.P Eddie Guererro.
The only thing that's staged is the story lines and match results. Everything else is real in the sense that you can get fucked up.Quote:

Whats real fucked up is that I just recently got back into wrestling...
Poor guy beat Kennedy on Friday to advance in Survivoir Series...
Rest in Peace bro, you made lots of people smile throughout the years!
I will miss the Latino Heat. :(
When I was younger I always had trouble sleeping. Back in 1995 I was up in the early morning hours one day and stumbled apon ECW. Having been a wrestling fan for years I figured I'd check it out. That same show they were showing highlights from a Eddie Guerrero Dean Malenko match. From that point on I was hooked on ECW. Pretty much have been following Eddie's matches ever since.
Just lastnight my brother in law and I were talking about Eddie for about 20 minutes, and I let him borrow my RF Video shoot interview with Eddie as well as my Cheating Death Stealing Life DVD. To think, as we were talking about him, he was already alone and dead in his hotel room.
So if your favorite actor died it wouldnt bother you I'm assuming.Quote:

Have some respect, the guy had a wife and 3 daughters all who are still small children.
Then how can an actor be good, you ignorant shit? Wow, it's all staged. Welcome to 1982, dipshit. The fact that it's all a staged performance rather than a live sporting event, doesn't lessen the tragedy of a person's early death.Quote:

The point is, that the dead (be they famous or nobodies) are to be respected to some degree. Shit talking them just isn't cool.
I was actually kinda down when Mr. Perfect died....man, too bad about Eddie too.
RIP
No. It's a totally different thing. There's nothing more sad than watching someone act willfully ignorant for the sake of sarcasm.Quote:

They are on the road some ridiculous amount of the year, and have to perform many times a week. At any given time, a good portion of them are working injured, and many become addicted to pain killers.
edit:Yeah... What always gets me is how it's so often the guy that calls himself "Christian" who is so ready to make light of someone's death, or put down what they do for a living as worthless. They must have special Smugness classes at Sunday School.Quote:

Yes...it's scripted...there's a reason why it's called Sports Entertainment!
It's about the acting...and the athletics...a soap opera, such as it is.
However, the wrestlers work up to 200 days a year doing what they do. That takes a toll on a body and it takes conditioning to do that job. And with any script or job, accidents do occur and things go awry.
Fake...yes but Mick Foley flying over 20 feet off the top of a cage into an announcers table...fake or not, that is seriously going to screw a body up big time...and because of things like that, wrestlers get hook easily on painkillers and other drugs. They also try and do moves to make the crowd go wild, ending up messing themselves up even more. Droz did such a move and ended up breaking his neck.
So far, the indication is that Eddie Guerrero had a heart attack. He did do painkillers and also was an alcoholic but had been sober for years.
You don't have to like the wrestling and its 'fakeness' but I respect the guys who do it...to them, it's a job just like anyone else does ;)
I think it means you don't care about anyone. You're above it all. People can die, and it's a source of amusement for you. Haha dumb wrasslers. That attitude will shoot you right to Heaven, I'm sure.Quote:

I must be confusing you with another member. Weren't you the guy who insisted the Bible was to be interpreted litterally, and all that other Christian-type stuff?Quote:

It's not so much that you don't care about his death, I can't say I do either. Not that I'm happy, but it doesn't effect me. I feel sorrow for his family to the furthest extent possible, but that's about it.Quote:

I bet you were a laugh riot with all your friends when Katrina hit eh? Comedy goldmine, and why not? You didn't know everyone who died, so it's a free reign for comedy. Or how about those damn kids in India making my Nike shoes that fall apart after a week? Beat'em harder I say lol. It's all a joke when you just don't give a fuck.
If you don't like wrestling or care about the passing of Eddie...to each their own. You're either into wrestling or you're not. No ill will from me toward anyone who cares or cares not. That's all I have to say ;)
Sounds a lot like the circus...Quote:

You're still an asshole to make light of someone's death, but at least less of a hypocrite.Quote:
