I myself am sick of the war; it has outlived its usefulness. The people over there and animals and respond only to one thing, horrible violence. These people have been slaughtering them selves since Jesus walked the earth, how are we going to change that now? Saddam was only one of thousands of completely insane people just waiting to take over. You pull one out and they replace him with another murderous psycho.
These people will not stop the car bombings and public murders…ever. No amount of democracy or US military presence will stop it and our government needs to realize that. The deaths will continue, as will the astronomical war costs.

Americans are addicted to instant gratification, constant entertainment, and playful fun instead of investment in the future, bettering themselves, and logic/spirituality. It just doesn't make sense and its too bad too.
As for Bush, he has clearly had more shit happen on his watch than most other presidents, and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that much. But still though all in all I consider him the worst president as long as I've been alive. I've asked 50-somethings who they felt was the worst, and even against Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon.... they feel GWB is still worse than them.

The only thing Bush has done to challenge anything was his hilarious attempt to destroy social security...which turned out great by the way. He had a whopping 14% of the country behind him on that one.
Ironic that Bush won based on his promise to save marriage, he beat out a "Massachusetts Liberal" based on that bullshit.

The more liberal the state is - the less likely it is to engage in the institution. As a result these states have the lowest divorce rates because marriage simply isn't as prevalent - those comparisons don't hold up.
