who's getting? cant wait to play jamma mercs and GnGs on my bigscreen tv.....
I thought it wasn't going to be out 'till Wednesday?
I'm all over this like Shito on the playground.
Kudos Dash, for making a topic that doesn't suck.
Oh SNAP.Quote:

Trojan, Legendary Wings, MERCS, Final Fight, Bionic Commando. It's gonna be some good shyt. One of the few classic packs where I'll actually play more than 2 games for more than 10 minutes.

I have never played the arcade version of Mercs before.
I have never played the arcade version of Legendary Wings except the NES version.

I would prefer the Famicom/FDS versions of Gun.Smoke, Section Z and Bionic COmmando.
Where is Captain Commando?
I'm looking forward to this so much, I wish tommarow was tadday.Quote:

It'd be nice if there were XBL support for the SF's, but it's still a damn good deal for 20 bucks.
I had no idea a deal this sweet was comming out.
Another title for my Birthday list next month! :buttrock: Haha.
funny thing is, when I was a kid, I bought the NES Bionic Commando after playing the arcade versionQuote:

At this point, my memory of the arcade version is pretty fuzzy, which is why I'm looking forward, but maybe I'll be disappointed.Quote:

Y'all serious this is coming out tomorrow instead of Wednesday? *giggles madly over thoughts of 1942*
Hell, I would gladly pay $20 for a Ghouls and Ghosts/194X collection on XBox alone.

Is this for PS2 as well, or just Xbox? I'm confused.Quote:

But is that all? NO! You also get the plastic DVD casing and insert with minty booklet including information about the titles!!
How can you possibly pass on this deal?!
Geesh, why do I feel like I should be wearing a multi-colored stripped sweater?
+1
think about all the money I'll save!Quote:

Maybe this will push Konami to make a good collection...
I just drew $50 in nickles/dimes from my change jar... I'm going to gamestop on wednesday.
Sometimes stores may have something (i.e. ultimate spiderman as my example) a day or two early. The best buy is Springfield is putting Ultimate Spiderman for ps2 on the shelves a day early (tomorrow). Too bad I have to wait 2 days for the PC version :(Quote:

...is worth $20.
I'll get a copy of it probably next month though.
I pre-ordered both Capcom Classics Collection and Midway Arcade 3 for the Xbox. The ship date (EBGames.com) for both games is tomorrow.
However, maybe some stores will have them tomorrow?
I'll pick up the PSP version instead since it's got two extra games,Strider Hiryu and Sidearms :kekeke:
B-
when is that coming out?Quote:

This has got to be, without a doubt, the best "collection" game ever!Quote:

How does the original SF2 play on the PS2 Dualshock? I'm still uncertain of whether I want this for the Bawks or the PS2.
If they don't have it in stock tomorrow, I'll hatecrime every metrosexual in a 5 mile radius. :blow_top: :very_ang:
I have no problem with the Dualshocks for SF-like fighting games (their much better than Xbox pads for fighters, IMO), but pulling off the 360 moves is a royal pain in the ass. Get a stick if you want to do it right, then that won't be a factor. And as for which system to buy it for, personally I prefer Xbox for arcade conversions, assuming I've got a stick, and that's what version I'm about to buy.Quote:

I'm going to call up a store anyways near closing time and see if they got it early; it's happened before.
So any word on what unlockables there will be?
Probably SF1 if the roster matches the Ultracade cabs anymore at all.Quote:

Hopefully nothing as bad as the extra musics in the MegaMan Collections.
I shall not rest until I 1cc Final Fight.
Capcom has had 16 years to get this damned port down. If it isn't the greatestfuckingport ever made, there will be hell to pay. :blow_top:
God I hope not. Strider would be a good extra.Quote:

i honestly hope they don't include fighting street, that game was a complete turd, even the arcade version was terrible, completly unplayable nowadays.Quote:

I really doubt we will ever see a conversion of Fighting Street (Street Fighter 1) ever. I'm not even sure Capcom CAN re-release it. There's gotta be more than just red tape holding a conversion, of it, back. Oddly enough, I've only seen the 2-button version of the game. The one in which you slam the button harder for a stronger hit. The machine I saw, had 2 large buttons too, so wacking one of them almost felt like some wack-a-mole thing.
