/hopes it doesn't come very far inland.
I am so glad I don't live on the coast anymore! :spock:
Qube's in Texas too right?
This is getting ridiculous now. Hurricane after Hurricane. I pray everybody gets out of there all right.
I'm pretty sure he moved to (to nebraska?) awhile back.Quote:

i think me and my buddies are gonna go out to snyder texas waaaay out near midland and such and just watch the thing pass over austin, dallas, and the like. that's the thing about texas if you need to go somewhere to avoid something you don't have to leave the state.
:buttrock: :chump: :buttrock: :chump:
Good luck to Bonuskun in Austin and Merc in SATX. Hope you guys dont get much rain.

Me I'll still be at Natorm Headquarters here in SATX, as the worst we usually get is a lot of rain. I do hope some of our costal Texans here are okay though.

I'm in Detroit now. I was in Ne. though :(
Thanks for thinking about me bok ;)
we'll be fine in SA, eh GK btw, why havent i seen you around, its been a year man!!!
hope everyone out on the coast is okay during this one!!
No Texans are going to go STORM RIDING!?!?!?!
Sorry, bad pun I couldn't resist.
Hope this thing doesn't do any damage to you guys down there.
Actually I used to... literally go into a bad storm to ride it out if you must know. In fact back in the late 90's when we had a bad hurricane and Port Aransas was all fucked up I went in search of the storm. The Coast Guard was pissed because there were like 50 ppl out in the gulf trying to get their surf on because normally we don't get waves that are condusive to it. I went boogie boarding that day and we all got fished out the water by the CG. During the confusion of it all I split, the others I'm assuming got busted.Quote:

She didn't get the rush of ardenaline I did, just a rush of fear. Even guys like me have to know when to go into semi-retirement though. I'm already in the process of making some major changes in my life, but I'll always be the rock em' & sock em' Storm Rider "King of the Bears" super sexual warrior of the new world.

Friedspam is staying in Houston. Anyone else staying around the area?
God bless you all in texas
Hope you're all safe and prepared :)
I got most of my things packed just looking for a palce to stay at
Good luck in Texas.
This motherfudgepacker is headed right for us in Oklahoma even!
I'm just wondering how many more Hurricanes we're all going to see this year AFTER Rita. The season isn't even half over yet. I can't leave the house right now anyhow. Taking this damn anti-biotic pill that if I'm out in the sunlight I'll start puking up my guts. Thus I'm on temporary holiday. That picture PUNJ put up of the hurricane's ETA Arc though is interesting indeed.
What's next, the Mega Quake in California?
GK
18 total this year. The National Weather Beurea has only 4 more names to give to hurricanes this year.Quote:

Yeah, I was expecting some storming on friday, but...
Well, excuse me while I nip out to the convenience store.
Well I got enough water (reverse osmosis pure at that) and enough food, and luckily am not right on the coast, but I hear what PUNJ is saying about being prepared. And to think I wanted to have bought a house in Corpus Christi a year ago, but the wife and I instead got this place here in SATX.
Oh and to my old droog Daigo, yeah man I'm still around. Going to be a Daddy soon too, I don't get out as much as I used to. If I'm not working "On Call" for vehicles to pick up for various auto companies, I'm usually just chilling at NATORM Headquarters (my house). Been playing my GMVS game of King of Gladiator (boot/hack of KOF '97) mostly, watching Mai become naked when performing super moves, and Blue Mary's tittes jiggle uncovered. Not a bad "hack" if I don't say so myself.

good thing it's sold out, or i would have braved it.
i don't think it'll be that bad in SA, but my work is preparing for the worst here.
our building leaks like crazy and heavy rains means slippery floors.
i'm hoping everyone in Houston and galvaston is okay though.
and i know plenty of folks with family in corpus, brownsville, and matamoros
so it's going to be pretty bad i know.
I don't have a pic I can take playing the game by myself executing the moves, but I've got one (with a watermark on it) from an Ebay Auction sometime back, in fact the very one that brought the game to my attention. The ones to get nekkid are Blue Mary, Mai, Shermie *I now own this oddity thanks to the awesomeness of ckchanQuote:

Guess its time to get ready for some rain here.....
Picked up about 9 liters of water in case it cuts out... If it comes to it, surely there will be some people in my dorm with some (either that or there will be people in my dorm without enough..... I guess that's more likely.)
I'm trying to convince Friedspam to leave Houston and come stay with me right now. Not having much luck.
i think i'm gonna buy some combat boots and a new knife. i mean a situation like this is the perfect excuse. i'm gonna be out during this mess anyways cause my boss says and i quote "we're not closing on saturday, and you've gotta work" so i'm gonna be out and about i guess. we'll see what happens.
Also the US should start to expect 5$ a gallon of Gas soon.

those icons are a little misleading.
Nah the FTC is launching an investigation into the last gouging.... I doubt the gas suppliers will be dumb enough to hike up the gouging this time.Quote:

So far, I don't know if we're leaving or staying.
rarehero and bokemeow! I have y'all's phone numbers (bok I have your cell, and rare I have your home and work), so umm if I call one or both of you please post here that I'm OK.
Edit: oh, and thanks, tonk
The FTC investigation will bring up nothing. It's money in the Government's pocket when the gas prices raise. I wouldn't second guess $5 in the next week.Quote:
