its cool I found it
http://nfg.2y.net/games/hisaturn/
if slerch666 can give me a link to a yahoo search I will be grateful
Here's a Sega Saturn search.
It's got games mixed in with it, so you'll have some searching to do.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the name for Hitachi:
日立
So I added that to the Saturn search, which turns up no results. I may be incorrect on Hitachi's name.
I have read about this model several times on this board.
It makes me the same effect than the neo hotel unit. I understand the rarity of the model but I'm not excited.
well it wasn't there but I will look there every so often
Jesus I found it and the rpice is going psycho
http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r17494182
plus with 100 games, dude if I bid on that and sell the games how much do you think I wll get back for the games.
in fact din't bother as bare shit is missing
actually on the link what letters in JPN do I need to have the word jitachi sega saturn, so i can use it for future ref
That's around $1000 right? I guess if you plan to resell the games it would be a bargin. That is if you think $500 for a saturn is a bargin. For that I'd probably cross into the build it yourself realm... What am I talking about? I own a Q.
102,500 yen? That's not bad at all. Considering the auction you linked went for nearly $2000. 102,500 is roughly $1025. Plus the other auction had no games in it and it went for ~$2000.Quote:

They don't have Hitachi in the auction name at all.Quote:

yeah but if u look at the lionk on my 3rd post, u see the saturn has more stuff and this guy admitts have the sega stuff missing as its more used for playing games.
FUCK, so you saying the letters above is for the S.S I would need to find the navi one ?
Do you think you could find a burned copy of the navi software? I can't remember if the gps unit was built in or not...
SS カーナビサターンQuote:

SS Car Navi Saturn is what it's listed as.
I guess my question is, do you really need this thing? The Navigation part is only for Japan and I doubt they have updated navigation software for it, so what you'd get with the system IF it were included, would be old mapping data for Japan.
Or are you looking at this from a Saturn collector's stand point? If that's where your looking at it from, then definitely don't buy this one as it's not complete obviously. Tracking down the individual parts for it would likely be more difficult than someone with no Japanese language background trying to read Japanese. It just won't happen.
collecter's point, that is why I never bid on it as when I looked at the link on my 3rd post, as I said bare shit was missing.Quote:

Well, you have all the Katakana you need to conduct the search again.Quote:

You can cut it down to Saturn Navi as well:
サターン ナビ
I've heard of people paying as much as $1800 for a complete HiSaturn Navi.
Wild. I never even knew about this hitachi staurn until now. Thanks for the info.
this is gonna sound embarassing but I know u will take it well. Erm what is the box I will out those words into, I mean the peroper link as if I type yahoo.co.jp and I type words then it goes to weird sites.Quote:

Is it this link and u put the japanese words into there http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/
as this comes up if i put ur words into that box
http://search.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/j...ale=0jp&acc=jp
I usually hit the main site page, auctions.yahoo.co.jp.
The search is the top box, not the very top box on the right, but the one furthest up on the left.
It should be below this image: http://image.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/images/a4j.gif
You are probably better served searching all auctions, so leave it on the drop down option it stays on (subete no auction).
Is that what you were looking for, or do you need something else?
That's sad, do you know how much cool Neo stuff you can get for $1800?Quote:

I keep getting this
http://search.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/j...ale=0jp&acc=jp
nah don't worry i will use rinkya
also I was thinking how about if I type SNK COSPLAY for the terry jackets, well I need 2 know in JPN first but what do u think ?
Somebody sticky this thread as proof that 30 seconds of Googling can save you having to post a thread that nobody will read.
Yeah, you could maybe get a Metal Slug AES. Maybe, if you're lucky.Quote:

How about Waku Waku 7, MotW and one other AES title.
I get so confused by your posts. Sure, this is a Neo board, but think about it. If someone here is willing to pay $1800+ for a Metal Slug, wouldn't it stand to reason that someone with the same mentality would purchase a Sega Saturn Navi? It's PRECISELY the people who buy Neo stuff that I'd expect this type of insanity from.
That page is telling you that it can't find anything. That's the proper page and the proper thing to put in if you're looking for the Navi. Evidently it's just not listed at the moment. It happens.Quote:

Every once in a while you'll find a set of terms you search for comes up with the "everything" option. Unfortunately your SNK Cosplay search term is likely too niche for their system to work up.Quote:

Well, since we're on a Neo Geo forum, I figured that Neo stuff would be a better thing to spend $1800 on. Sure he can blow all that money on whatever he wants. And of course not everyone wants those games, but there's 200 more Neo titles to choose from so...Quote:

I don't think the neo has that many games ( 200 as u said ) but I could be wrong and neo forum yes but this is unrelatedQuote:

SatNavi can't be used outside Japan so for me no longer living there it doesn't hold much value apart from as collectable item... And when it comes to collectable items I'd get any Dev/Prototype over retails Saturn any time... :p Beside where can you buy prototype console whereas if you have money SatNavi can be found on Yahoo Japan or eBay... :p

sure if I ever see SatNavi for 10000 yen will pick up without the hesitation but paying 70000-100000 yen for a device that won't function nor has any significant value in terms of Saturn history I don't see the point to spend a lot on it... for all my Saturn consoles I paid around 1800-10000 yen over the several years...
I'm not saying which is better or what not but in terms of rarity you can't say the mass produced version is more rare than prototype/dev systems...
Yep! SatNavi is cool but same goes for PC Engine Duo with LCD monitor and battery pack all in black with matching wireless pad... :p
