Haha, Al fucking Leiter.
Yanks take series at Boston 3 out of 4 with 4 starters on the DL. And Al Leiter looks dominant.
:kekeke: :kekeke:
You supposed Red Sox fans have been eerily quiet. Did the bandwagon get overturned?

White Sox > Red Sox > Yankees

Another Neo Mike prediction shot down.
But don't underestimate the Sox, remember what happened in the post season last year :emb:
I don't know, it might be a little early to determine this, but after watching this series there seems to be a fire in the Yankees that I haven't seen in awhile. Kind of reminds me of the Championship teams slightly.Quote:

Bullshit call at first base in the 9th on Alex Cora.
He was fucking safe.
Typical Yankee luck though.
I hope that umpire gets his ass REAMED at the weekly review meeting.
The White Sox > Yankees part is.Quote:

Dude your fucking nutz I haven't seen the Yankees get calls in years. Hell I'd say every close play the yankees are in they don't get the call.Quote:

You really have no idea do you?
When did you start watching baseball, last year?
Right now I will agree with that, but when August 8th rolls around, we'll see what happens. :)Quote:

I am right here, BoSox fan since birth :buttrock:
But yeah, this weekend totally sucked :crying:
The Sox and Yankees are both where they're supposed to be. While it was disappointing that they couldn't take advantage of the Yankees depleted pitching staff, let's not forget the Sox have pitching and injury problems of their own, not the least of which caused them to lose Friday night.
Both are flawed teams at this point, but it's fascinating to watch them play because they are mirror images and literally seem built to play each other. I'm not happy with this weekend but when you take a long view, the yanks were due to take three out of four this series as the sox were ahead a few games in the series over the last three years and these teams are so evenly matched.
There's been ups and downs for both teams but they'll both be there in the end and nobody would be surprised if the division came down to that last weekend of the season at Fenway. Good stuff.
I was rooting for them in the World Series but I have to favor the west, just cause I can go see them anytime I want. (Angels, Dodgers, Padres)Quote:

Considering they had no one of quality to start Friday night's game that would explain that.Quote:

Not necessarily.Quote:

I guess redsox fans can't take it that they are over. The Yankees have one starter (Johnson) and he's even pitching hurt and guess what they're in first and my Indians got a cheap win :emb: Hell after the WSox series I'll take it :crying:
Uh, a little FYI shitface, I hate the NBA. I don't know where you got that from.Quote:

Yes it can be harder to umpire a knuckleball pitcher, however when a ball moves off of the plate as much as it did in the case of the called 3rd strike on Bernie Williams, that was beyond stupid. Sure sometimes shit like that will get called (being off the plate a little), but that was in another fucking time zone.
You still are incredibly clueless about calls going the way of the Yankees.
When you get a clue, let me know.
Till then shut the fuck up.
Shit..I got you confused with DashK...Quote:

Sooooooo, they win because they get more calls? Or do they win because they BUY everything? I think you should pick your battle.
I would rather root for a team that spends tons of money to win than one that sits on cash. Fuck the rest of the league for not spending money to win. The Royals are owned by one of the richest men in America. And he pockets the fucking money that they get from what revenue sharing there is. Last year the Brewers were quite profitable. The Yankees spend the money they make. Steinbrenner, love him or hate him, is the absolute best owner you can have for your team. All he cares about is winning.
The money argument is weak, especially from Red Sox fans. You might as well yell, "Your Mom!!!"
Im a Cardinals fan, they suck
$400,000 for Al Lieter > whatever the M's are paying for Adrian Beltre and Richard Sexon.Quote:
