This should be a epic list.
Here's my most Recent List:
#1 Freaks And Geeks
#2 Freakylinks ( I liked it, I don't care what you say)
#3 Committed (NBC)
I know there's alot I'm forgetting.
Let's see what you guys got.

The Michael Richards Show (i liked it)
Clerks: The Animated Series
quite some germans (myself included, of course) liked the 'misfits of science'. too bad the show only took off over here, after two of those guys already died.
i even bought a home made dvd set (5 dics) for $70 plus postage off ebay.com.
Only two I watched recently that were cancelled after one season were Tru Calling and Birds of Prey.
That was definately one I needed to put in my list.Quote:

This 70's british show with Tony Curtis and Roger Moore (don't know the english name). Only 24 episodes.
A must see.
MAX HEADROOM
SWIFT JUSTICE
VENGEANCE UNLIMITED
...all three ended too soon. :annoyed:
MERCENARY X99
space above and beyond.
I'm going to play psychic on this one and say American Dad. It's only in it's first season right now, and it's pretty funny, but I really don't see it going for a second. Shame. I hope I'm wrong, though.
American Gothic.
well I liked it anyway. you cunts.
Didn't Firefly last one season? If so, put it on it.
The Lone Gunmen :(
The show was starting to find it's groove and was a hell of a lot better than X-Files was at the time.
hell yeah, caught the re-runs on sci-fi years back, was a good ass show, great acting and storyline.Quote:

Clerks The Animated Series is hilarious, too bad the first episode they put on TV was episode 2, which had many flashbacks to episode 1.... genius!
"Why are we walking like this?"
John Doe
dont post here much but I have to say 3 South. The last good show that was ever on MTV. Theres some DVD's floating around of the series that were sold at comic-con I think.
This cartoon on MTV that was set in college. That freaky guy from Just Shoot Me did a few of the voices I cant remember the name of the show but I really liked it.
EDIT: I just noticed the post above me and the name sounded familiar and it is the show I was posting about :)
Three of my picks have already been mentioned ("Lone Gunmen", "Firefly", and "John Doe"), but to those I'll add:
- "Thieves"
- "Jake 2.0"
And for those who grew up on Saturday morning TV in the 80s, "Mighty Orbots". :buttrock:
I'm going to take a wild leap and say most of the recent sitcoms on fox.
Things like Andy Richter Controls the Universe and shows that were cut down in their prime like Titus.
After the intial runs of "Shorts" on Liquid TV, it sucks that AEON FLUX only lasted one season at 10 episodes long. I'm just glad I tracked down someone to get me VHS to DVD transfers of everything, then doing the custom covers myself, because the few out of print eps on DVD is "choice" eps and not the whole thing. Maybe with the release of the movie Peter Chung will release legit DVDs.

AEON was just ahead of it's time like so many other shows even if animated at that. Pure mind fuck genius with that sex appeal not many shows ever pulled off. ONE SEASON is Boo! *It needs a resurgence badly.
MERCENARY X99
DTV - Danger television
"Hi, you might remember me, I'm the guy from U.N.C.L.E...."
It was 2 shows in one; the first was "The searcher" the main character was Oswald from the Drew Carry show, and the second show's main character was Adaw West playing a Hawii 5-0 type cop.
This TV show was F'n funny :buttrock: , I wish I could find it to buy, or download...
Another Really good show, that I would add to my personal List. :buttrock:Quote:

Austin Stories on MTV. That was a really fucking hilarious show, at least the few times I could actually find it on the air... they kept bumping it from the schedule and never gave it a chance. Is it just me or did MTV kill off a lot of shows prematurely?
The Flash (great theme!) and Action!
Yeah, I was trying to remember if Flash had lasted more than one season. It was kind of hit and miss, but the episodes I liked (like the one where he went to the future), I really liked a lot. Amanda Pays (sp?) was cool.Quote:

Max Headroom only lasted one season? Odd, I thought it lasted longer...
And I'm going to agree with syringe on this one. Really. Titus was just too funny to die (although it lasted two seasons, not one...). I'm happy it's on DVD now.
Merc, perhaps if the upcoming Aeon Flux movie does okay, then there might be a resurgence of the old series. Perhaps...
Exactly the one I was going to mention...thank goodness it's been released on DVDQuote:

Brian Posehn was the guy in question, incredibly funny and awkward comedian. I'd love to find this show on DVD, if Comic-Con wasn't a total fuckhole disappointment this year, I probably would've bothered to look for such a DVD instead of leaving early and going to relax in the Gaslamp Quarter.Quote:

-John Doe (almost a spirtual successor to Nowhere Man)
-Eerie Indiana
Hard Time on Planet Earth
Aeon Flux wasn't canceled, it just ended. That's like saying FLCL was canceled after 'only' six episodes. And IIRC, a DVD collection of the series was released years ago (around when people started noticing DVD)..shit goes for a lot, though. something like $70 last I checked, which was months ago.Quote:

Fox went ahead and cancelled Arrested Development didn't they? I absolutely love that show, but it seems that just enough people never watched it.
I never really cared for that show.Quote:

FOX DOES MORE TIME WITH "ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT," ORDERING A FULL THIRD SEASON
FOX gets ARRESTED again. The network has ordered a third full season of the Emmy Award-winning comedy series ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, it was announced today by Peter Liguori, President, Entertainment for Fox Broadcasting Company.
"ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT is one of the best comedies on television. The decision to order another season becomes easy when you consider its amazing cast, creative brilliance, critical acclaim and advertiser appeal," said Liguori. "It's my first official pick-up since taking the job, and I think it's a great way to start."
The critically acclaimed series revolves around Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman), the good son who must run the family business and continue to pick up the pieces as he keeps his offbeat family from falling apart. The comedy has featured guest appearances by numerous stars including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Liza Minnelli, Heather Graham and Ben Stiller. Last year, the show received five Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series, Writing, Directing, Casting and Editing. Additionally, Jason Bateman won a Golden Globe for Outstanding Actor in a Leading Role - Musical or Comedy Series and the show was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards for Outstanding Musical or Comedy Series. This past season, the cast was nominated for a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series. The show was also named an AFI Program of the Year and received the Critics' Choice Award for Best Comedy, among other accolades.
ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT is produced by Imagine Television and 20th Century Fox Television. Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, David Nevins and Mitch Hurwitz are executive producers.
Invader Zim, Nickoledon kept bumping around it's time slot and was more made for an MTV crowd anyway
Clerks was a show that was never given a chance to run, ABC had it marked in red before the first (read: second) episode aired.
I never really understood Zim. It is on DVD, though, if you're into that sort of thing...Quote:

I will admit it isn't for everyone I didn't really start liking it until about the third episode. I don't even remember seeing the last episode as I thought it was going to get cancelled and I didn't want to be disappointed.Quote:
