Granted, Cano doesn't have great opposite field power, and by playing in he gives himself a chance to throw out a runner on a base hit. BUT, cost-risk analysis says that's a bad decision. You don't risk giving up three runs in order to have a chance to save one.
I think he misplayed that, which cost us three runs, thus we lost the game by those three runs.
GA is in the bottom 5 Percent of left fielders. There's a
reason why his uniform is clean after every game. The GA of today isnt the same GA that had all the hustle back in 00 or 02.
