Looks like the Angels have secured home field advantage against the Yanks.
Oh yesss!

Pretty funny. You know as of today, Frankie leads by 2 in overall saves over all other relievers/closers :angry:Quote:

Dangerous, Dean, all you Yankee fans. Lets hear comments on the Home Field advantage... Big deal for us? or what are your thoughts?
I think it will definately work to our advantage. We have so much momentum going into Tuesdays game (Won last 14 of 16 games).
My friends who are Yankee fans are pretty nervous about this upcoming series - What do you guys think?
Edit: Unless the Yankees score 11 runs in 2 innings... :drool:Quote:

White Sox > all :buttrock:
Gammons just said he wouldnt be surprised if it was White Sox or Angels in the World Series, and that BOTH teams are Underrated and don't get the respect they deserve.
Damn right.
It fucking sucks because I had a Bleacher seat to New York's ALDS game 5. Now at least I get my $28.00 back.Quote:

I would prefer that the yankees face chicago or clevland... I think if the yank can get quality starts, they can win.
Yankees have won 16 of the last 21 games.Quote:

Second, remember the last series between these two teams in Anaheim?
The Angels got smacked down.
I don't think the homefield advantage is all that important for the divisional round.
I just think you need to remember this is not the same Yankee team that was at the beginning of the season.
It should be a good series either way.
I'm not worried about playing the Angels, it doesn't really matter who the Yankees play in the first round.
I think I will stab someone in the face if the ALCS is Yanks vs Boston again.
BTW Rivera's ERA was better than K-Rod's for the season.
Not to mention in key situations 99% of all teams in baseball would rather have Mariano.
The Yankees are bad for baseball.Quote:

You need to stick to politics because you actually know something about that.Quote:

Nah.
Yankees = ratings.
Yankees drive up business when they are on the road for the team hosting them.
Everyone wants to play the Yankees because win or lose it means business.
I think he means the padresQuote:

Anyways congrats to all the playoff teams, and good luck to all you bitches (even the Yankees)
Red Sox gonna be tough (then again so are any of the AL contenders), just gotta hope White Sox pitching can shut em down enough, I think they can score runs on the Red Sox pitching.
Fuck the Yankees.Quote:

astros and cardinals, yankees and angels, redsox on whitesox, padres on braves. i see it like this. the braves will come out and play the astros for the penant for the NLCS and the redsox will take on the yankees in the ALCS (again) and we'll see the braves and yankees in the world series. but like they say youcan't script october. anything can happen and as we've all seen it usually does.
