Rodriguez does have rivera like numbers....

But I'd trade those two saves for 5 more wins and one less loss.

Dangerous, Dean, all you Yankee fans. Lets hear comments on the Home Field advantage... Big deal for us? or what are your thoughts?

I think it will definately work to our advantage. We have so much momentum going into Tuesdays game (Won last 14 of 16 games).

My friends who are Yankee fans are pretty nervous about this upcoming series - What do you guys think?

Gammons just said he wouldnt be surprised if it was White Sox or Angels in the World Series, and that BOTH teams are Underrated and don't get the respect they deserve.

It fucking sucks because I had a Bleacher seat to New York's ALDS game 5. Now at least I get my $28.00 back.

The yankees that are playing now arn't the yankees that you saw during the summer months.... It should be interesting...

I would prefer that the yankees face chicago or clevland... I think if the yank can get quality starts, they can win.

Yankees have won 16 of the last 21 games.

So before you start yakking about the Angels having momentum, don't forget that.

Second, remember the last series between these two teams in Anaheim?

The Angels got smacked down.

I don't think the homefield advantage is all that important for the divisional round.

I just think you need to remember this is not the same Yankee team that was at the beginning of the season.

It should be a good series either way.

I'm not worried about playing the Angels, it doesn't really matter who the Yankees play in the first round.

I think I will stab someone in the face if the ALCS is Yanks vs Boston again.

BTW Rivera's ERA was better than K-Rod's for the season.

Not to mention in key situations 99% of all teams in baseball would rather have Mariano.

astros and cardinals, yankees and angels, redsox on whitesox, padres on braves. i see it like this. the braves will come out and play the astros for the penant for the NLCS and the redsox will take on the yankees in the ALCS (again) and we'll see the braves and yankees in the world series. but like they say youcan't script october. anything can happen and as we've all seen it usually does.
