So the new Chemical Brothers album....
...it's uh....good.
Like, really good. Go buy it. Now. |
Galvanize and Left Right are kinda lame. Only heard samples for the rest of the tracks.
Bring back the exit planet dust / dig your own hole days. |

Im curious what you guys make of the new Plump DJs track Get Kinky.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/radio...o1/nightingale on Annie Nightingales show at 4 mins in. If you skip 5 mins u miss the first min. EDIT: Annie Nightingales show owns btw. If you dont already listen, id certainly recommend it. Pretty much at the forefront of uk breaks. Great guest mixes each week too. |
TBH dont think CB have done much good in years, though ive turned round on Galvanise, liking it atm.

when It comes to music, Buro never disappoints me
great fucking album. I was, right now, listening "Hold Tight London", possibly my fave track |
Whoa!
New CB CD? I'll have to pick that one up, I'm a very big fan of theirs. :) |

if you think this stuff's good, checkout the latest album from Daft Punk..
Daft Punk - Human After All their latest single kicks arse to 'The Brainwasher' :buttrock: |
I had only heard the single so far and it was awesome. I will pick this up soon for sure.

This IS an excellent album. I have only listened to the first couple tracks, but they kick mucho ass. I have to disagree with Buro on the new Chemical Bros album. I think it sucks. Galvanize rocks hardcore, but the album just seems to go downhill from there. Its loses the energy that Galvanize sets up. For my Chemical Brothers fix, I guess I will have to dig back into their older stuff. Their last album, Come With Us, is still better than Push the Button. Sorry. |
I figured I was not being fair commenting on it from samples. I picked it up today. I will stick with my original opinion that its no where near the first two albums. Still dont like left right or galvanize either.
I like Surface To Air though. Im a sucker for Sunshine Undergroun & Private Psyhedelic Reel style tracks. Believe is pretty cool, but im not too keen on the vocal. Dig Your Own Hole > (Exit Planet Dust = Surrender) > Come With Us > Push The Button. Just my opinion. |

Exit Planet Dust > Surrender > Come With Us > Dig Your Own Hole. Dig Your Own Hole was just too fucking busy for my tastes, it was like a Bomb Squad project gone acid. I like layered sound, but there was just too much shit happening in the average track on that album for me to get into it. Haven't listened to Push The Button yet, may go grab it tonight. |
gimme 2pac or biggie or J-Hov anyday.
