ok, I rarely see any topics on him, so consider my one (and perhaps only) thread dedicated to him.
New Album
I haven't purchased a Tupac album since Remember me?
why?
because they keep taking all the original cuts and fucking them up with shitty remixes so they:
a) don't have to pay the original producers
b) because at least of the producers (that I know of) is suing Suge/Amaru and co. for due royalties
Many people have to understand that Tupac actually helped produce some of those songs and went on uncredited, yet now they continue to get raped by the likes of his mother, the record company, etc.
They're all just some money hungry bitches, milking his name for more record sales. If they really wanted to do the fans a service they'd compile all his songs in one box set, UNCUT, and untouched. Doing it like that would probably be less profitable, but it beats all this bullshit seeing a new album nearly every fucking year since he died.
Even if a douche bag like Eminem felt need to "remix" it, it sounds inferior to me (especially since I've heard most of them from mp3s of the bootleg originals).
