Lets run a bush vs Kerry poll that is for american citizens only and see if its as lopsided. It WILL display your name, so we will be able to tell if people are voting who are non citizens.
Right now I'm a swing voter, but leaning slightly kerry.
Voted bush but looks like we have some non US people voting. So much for reading skills.

you're absolutely right, Bobak. When I pointed out the way international non citizens were voting in the LWK poll, it was just to say it's a bit closer than people would think... Not that Bush would win among US voters even on this site.

If I don't have an opinion on something, I won't jump in and pick one just because someone died for me to have the right to have an opinion. If later, something changes to make me develop strong feelings on the subject, I have every right to speak my mind on it. I voted for nader in 2000 not because I wanted him to win, but because I was throwing that vote away so that I could vote on issues that mattered to me. Frankly in a matchup of gore v bush, I could care less. There WERE matters on the ballot, however, that I did care about, and I think ballots should be required to have a none of the above or abstain selection.
And the idea of hitting someone who speaks their mind while not making a vote is over testonorized BS. A) you wouldn't do that and B) if you have to use violence to prove a philosophical point of view, perhaps you shouldn't have philosopical points of view

Euro vote on the Bush side as well (aside from that it's a zero postcount account).
Speaking about not voting, there are quite a lot of countries where voting is not a right, but a duty: you are forced to vote (even if it is a blank vote) or you get fined. Therefore in those countries participation is more than 90%. Which I find a good thing.
