Every morning I would see her getting off the bus, the picture never drops it's like a multicoloured snapshot stuck in my brain, it kept me sane for a couple of years as it drenched my fears of becoming like the others who become unhappy mothers and fathers of unhappy kids!

Other problems: What's a "multicolored snapshot"? Why not just a snapshot? And it's a dumb analogy anyway. Saying this particular memory is like a snapshot doesn't make it sound special at all. Isn't every visual memory like that?

Dunno man, I use the word 'hermetic' on a daily basis, just to commonly describe everthing with a dark, shaded metaphorical or allegorical meaning. IE the 'hermetic poetry', a very common name and topic, such as 'romantic poetry' or 'futuristic paintg', or 'expressionism' or whatever.

Maybe it's a language thing. I noticed the word 'mesmerize' is way common in English, while extremely obscure in Italian (still existing), possibly considered a pure-literature word. Also the freudian use of the 'anal' concept (ie anal collector) seems pretty basic in English as well, while here is just a mere psychoanalist term (anal is just a sex-from-the-behind thing down here).
