HALO 2 Leak is a fake/joke...and no one's talking about it!

I "beat" it today.

Firstly, the game is plagued with graphical/AI problems that never befall games gone Gold...let alone Bungie games.

Secondly, finding information about the leak on the internet is proving to be near impossible. Bungie.org's forums were shut down supposedly because the moderators couldn't keep up---but that's bullshit. Bungie and Bungie.org are close --- I'm guessing Bungie is trying to stop word of the FRAUDULENT leak from getting out --- so more people download it...and in turn more are discouraged from downloading the REAL leak.

Thirdly, the ending --- there is none.

FOURTH OFF --- the french leak?? Why the french leak? I'd like someone who actually SPEAKS french to listen to the dialog and tell me if it matches up with the subtitles....i'm guessing it doesn't. I'm guessing it's just a great diversion. At the end of the credits...there are no french voice actor credits whatsoever...a bit bizarre.

Fifth, certain cut scenes are missing.

Sixth, this supposedly 'complete' game has fewer levels than the previous Halo. Bullshit.

Seventh, Bungie are KNOWN for their effort in everything they do...tricks and jokes notwithstanding.

Eight, news of the leak is way too mainstream. From gamespot, to spong, to yahoo!news....everyone's got word of the leak. Why? It was practically a press release.

Did you do the dvd5 fix? I wondered what they took out to cut the size down to be able to record it dvd5. Maybe it was the big cinema gaps. Played this today with 3 other friends and thought it was ok, but we all wondered if this was a beta copy or something because it just didn't feel finished.

I don't know if some of you guys just didn't invest much time in it.
I played through the entire thing in 6-7 hours today coop.
It ends prior to earth being invaded.
It ends on the crest of the invasion wave.
It ends with NO resolution whatsoever...no final levels...no explanations...no ANYTHING.

The "final" level isn't even played with MC...

Pure speculation here, but it could be the most bitchin' anti-mod trap ever devised.

Suppose they put in some line of code in a 'stolen' version of Halo 2 that could completely fuck up your modded XBox. Yes, I know, far-fetched and highly unlikely, but talk about an unbelievably irresistable Trojan Horse.

I'm basically sticking my fingers in my ears and hollering 'LALALALALALA' until this fucking game actually comes out.
