Hello NEO GEO community,

we are a small group of NEO GEO fans who have developed an original full-scale NEO GEO video game called Last Hope. It's a Last Resort/Pulstar style shoot 'em up. The game will be released self published as AES homecarts in December 2005/January 2006.

We are using genuine SNK parts and have high quality offset printed inserts and manual booklet + digital printed and factory cut sticker.

The game will be packaged in Big Bear's shockboxes as there is no way to get high quality snap boxes or soft cases in high enough numbers at a reasonable pricing.

For now this is all. More information will follow soon on our homepage www.ngdevteam.com and as well in this forum.

Enjoy these teaser pics (captured from a RGB CRT via digicam) :)

Clean emulation shots are available on our homepage.

Best regards,
Timm

The game looks very interesting. I would also be interesed in knowing what the price point will be set at. I look forward to finding out more info about the game levels and scoring...etc . Keep us posted as the time draws near.

That literally looks amazing, unlike some other homebrew games I have seen in the past. Mate how much?

if the price is reasonable and the game is half decent, I'll probably support this venture with the hope it means more quality releases in the future.

Holy crap, for a homebrew that game is ace.

If I had an AES, I'd buy it on release. Great job!

Edit: Checking out your homepage and looking more carefully at the screens, looks like someone's got Bydo on the mind ;) Nice

Same here, but first I need to try it out.

That looks pretty impressive. I can't wait to see more of it ... and beg shamelessly for an MVS release. :glee:

never been inspired by shooters, but it's kind of cool to see that people are still making homebrew titles for the neo.

Good luck. If it makes it to market, I hope it does well.

Of course, that's a big "if".

Looks hawt, if it doesn't cost half the population of India+tax I'd consider picking it up.

I'd most likely purchase a copy - either AES or MVS. I <3 Neo shooters.

Definitely interested to see how this one turns out.
