I had a topic with my cubby filled with junk, but tinypic went down and in the meantime I finally changed home.

This is my new room, for gaming and projection.

Wished to have everything ready to play, so I made 3 different stations:

8-16 bit (NES-SNES-MD-PCE-CMVS); thanks to TK for the GameWarez beanie bag's suggestion :buttrock:

16-128 bit (AES-SAT-N64-DC-PS2-GC-Xbox OG)

Tate (SAT-DC-PS2) and Mame Cab

The games:

Minimalistic, but still comfy, the three stations concept is rigorous but looks beautiful... you got a talent to turn contrasts into harmony. I dig the name of the room, too ;).

Thanks, it's a great tv. Unfortunally has geometry issues and I can't access to the service menu. I also have good memories about that because was a common model in the game shops in my area, my favourite one had three stations in line with N64, Saturn and Psx. My dad has a similar model and I plugged my Saturn overnight to play X-men vs SF on a massive screen :D

Thanks Oliver, unfortunally it's no longer the Batou's safe place (cit.) but I'll do my best to maintain the spirit.

Nicely designed MAME cab. Did you build it from a flat pack or handle the cuts yourself?

Nice setup! Small, clean and comfy, almost like a japanese apartment. That PCE Duo is a thing of beauty (and the CMVS bolted to the side of the table is quite ingenious :D)

The important thing here is that everything's ready and playable. I'm not really a console collector, but the stuff I have (from the old days) is either disconnected or in a box, and then it pretty much becomes part of the furniture.

Congrats man

Thank you Edo, your Pinball collection would deserve a topic :)

That CMVS was quite ugly (the base is a pvc cutting board :O) and with a strong grip, so I had to figure out where to put it...

I've added these 2 posters meanwhile:

lol I tought it reminded me of something... but I'd never had guessed it was from my kitchen 🤣 That's doubly ingenious!
I'd really like to create a topic for my pinball collection, but right now it's a bit messy and I have to redecorate the main room (also, the Neo Geo part isn't all that great... but I'll think about it!)

The posters look great, that vertical empty space really needed something like that!
