is trying to beat Dr. Muckly in NAM-1975.

Just like asking some Alzheimer's guy to perform a simple task and then they get upset when they're unable to perform.

I can see the pattern. Hypothetically, I should know when to run and when to roll. In my mind, I should know how to beat this sumbitch.

And yet I can't.

Thank you and fuck you SNK.

Really don't enjoy this game. Feels like you're playing two different games at once

I will never be forgiven for saying this but SNK usually suck in balancing difficulty vs. coin revenue even before the Neo-Geo. Like Fire Suplex or Guerrilla War a game that could be a charming classic goes down the drain due to cheaty bullshit.
Nam is mild on that aspect but still the end boss is a kick in the balls.

Can't you save it somewhere like the beginning of the last level?

Silent Scope in the arcade pisses me off like that.
A bunch of them you play for over an hour or whatever and then literally you have one shot on the final guy, you miss WAH WAH....
Some of the Ghost Squad games are similar IRC

Eh, what do you mean by that?
It's breakout crossed with some operation wolf type thing. How the fuck do I move left and right then control the crosshairs too - I don't have the coordination

ACKSHULLY it takes a lot of shots to kill him
One shot at glory
In the crossfire overhead
Fate stands before me
Words have all been said

One shot at glory
Driving hard and seeing red
Destiny calls me
One night of fire, one shot at glory
