I have been a long time tfc player and recently it seems to come and go in spurts. I fired it up again recently and I noticed that While playing on any map at random times, the text becomes garbled and illegible. That is both team chat and room chat. Then it gets back to normal for 30 sec or so then it goes back to that garbled text. Anybody have this problem? I've searched online and can't find a specific answer. Thanks in advance.

Try switching renderers (if it still lets you). Might be a problem with your video card.
