that depends on how you like your pixels to look on an LCD, I like 'em clean, no filter which is possible in the game, I also like the uniformity of pixel size which is pretty close in the game but there are discrepancies. Considering all of that, both 98 and 02 play and look good, should take advantage of the good deal, I wish my CPU could run 13 proper, tha's a bummer.

How does '98 and 2002 look on a lcd monitor? I'm thinking of skipping the pack and just buying xiii because I hate how older games look on lcd.

Seriously, there's nothing wrong with how they look. They give you a few filtering options, too. Plus, this is on PC. There are mods out there that further emulate the CRT look, including scanlines if you are so inclined.
