People go to a fireworks display marketed as silent, it's not silent, they complain:

Tak - help me out on this one, is there even such thing as silent fireworks? How would they explode without making at least some noise?
Sounds like a combination of stupid advertising and stupid parents, I have little sympathy for either side.
