I'm working on building some custom arcade sticks (here: http://www.neo-geo.com/forums/showthread.php?243307) and was wondering If any of you fellow NeoGeoX owners would be interested on spending $175-$200 for an arcade stick that would work on your NGX? In other words, would you be willing to double your investment to make it more playable?

Something like that stick in particular, HELL yes. Because ideally, it being USB and DB15 port compatible I'd be able to use it with both my Neo Hardware, and my NGX. A stick strictly for the NGX at that cost, I'm not so sure.

This. It would be a terrible waste to create one of your sticks for *just* the NGX, but if it is dual purpose (or tri...since you could probably use it with pc games too) then definitely!

Sexy sticks but if I were to jump on one of these, I would hope they would be compatible across multiple platforms.

If you want to use original or even NGX Sticks on PC better get this stuff: http://www.raphnet.net/electronique/usb_game12/index_en.php

I helped Ralph with the pinouts and asked him to do that PCB for me ( thats why its still named BRD USBGAME 12 ).

Building an adaptor with that is very easy. You only need some soldering skills.
Works on Linux and Windows no drivers needed.
If you wanna mod NGX Joysticks you need to wire all contacts to this PCB. Maybe install a switch for the +5V to switch between the NGX and that PCB.
There is also a bigger PCB availible if you need 12 Buttons for arcade joysticks.

NeoGeo AES/CMVS, NeoGeoX, PC, PS3. I could do Xbox360 but that would require a pretty expensive encoder which is not compatible with the NeoGeoX

That's really a cool idea to build it so that it works for both PC/NGX and the AES/CMVS. I'd be interested in buying if I were not already interested in building my own... I've just been waiting to finish school so I could get out of the dorms.

Simple if you have an original Neo-Geo joystick, you can build an adaptor with this pcb i linked to play with it on PC maybe even on PS3.
You could also install it to the stick and do a USB connector within the joystickcase. All you have to do is a little wireing ( like you did with you selfmade joysticks ).
If you have a NGX joystick you could also place this pcb inside for better PC support and also add a DB15 port to the case.

So basicly im telling if you have a NGX joystick you can invest 21 C$ ( with shipping ) and maybe 1 $ for the DB15 and have also the possibility to connect it to MVS, AES, PC, PS3, NGX. All you need is some soldering skills.

Nothing against your sticks, just telling some options.
Of couse if u dont like the NGX stick, your sticks are a great option.

Of couse if you dont like the NGX stick your sticks seem to be an awesome option.

I made me an adaptor and can use all types of NG sticks or NGCD joypads on PC.

I know i'm a little late to that party; however, please keep me posted as well. Had both the NGX stick and the PS3 NG stick. Both joysticks wore out very quick (Can't properly preform quarter circles anymore. >_<). Are the joysticks more durable then the sticks i mentioned ? Thanks. :D
