Hello - this is for anyone in the PNW that might be interested in a meet up.
I've been going to the Seattle fighting game local meet up a bit and found that everyone there is a bit on the .... newer fighting game side. Was wondering if anyone here would be interested in a monthly meet up for retro fighting games. There was a good showing at Fight Kingdom for retro games a few months back in Everett - so we could all train for that too.
I am picturing a set up or two and a few people. Rent out a room the Redmond Marymoor center (have small meeting rooms) and just block out a few hours to play.
For games I'm thinking any of the older fighting games:
- Samurai Shodown II and Zero Special
- Fatal Fury Special
- Street Fighter Alpha 2
- Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo
For starting equipment I have a really good retro RGB set up I can bring.
If there's any interest - hell just 2 or 3 people would be cool, let me know! PM me or reply to this thread.
