PSP Ridge Racer problem

My PSP will no longer recognize Ridge Racer. I just bought the Namco collection and of course it forced me to upgrade my firmware. Now my Ridge Racer will not play, but other games will. I don't know if its just a coincidence, but it pisses me off. Anyone else with this problem?

Have you tried taking out the battery?

I've had something like this happening to me while I was messing with UMD loader...weird.
