On playing Super Dodge Ball

Okay, I just picked this game up for my cabinet, and so far I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

However, I get the feeling that, like most Neo titles, there's a lot more to this game than at first glance.

I was wondering if anyone out there could offer some gameplay advice, tips or tactics.

I haven't played SDB yet, but I've read up on it and plan on buying for my cab down the line myself.

My fiance and I were playing it for a bit tonight, and while it may no be quite as "deep" as I originally thought, it still is a blast to play.
