NGCDZ PSU vs NGCD PSU

I just burnt my NGCDZ PSU (don't ask how )

Can I get a NGCD PSU and use it?

Apparently the voltage is the same... so can I "mod" the jack?

If not, any other easy replacement?

Yeah you can take a razor and slice notches in the the regular CD connector to fit. Works fine.

Why don't you open the dead PSU and just remove the cord from it?
It's an easy swap. 3 wires and you're good to go! No slicing required then!

Atro makes a good point. But for whatever reason if you no longer have the PSU, cutting the NGCD cord like NeoTurfMasta said earlier works just fine and they are usually cheaper to get.
